Notifications

Since Monday notifications have been off. Some not appearing at all, others very delayed.

I agree.......they can do away with the helpfuls as I've said more than once........  BUT once people let the little problems slide..........they begin to let the "bigger" little problems go unfixed...

I just had two helpfuls.......only one was added to the total and notification of only one received........that's an error of some kind that should be fixed.

If there was a way to remove myself from the "most helpful" lists I would check that setting in a heartbeat. 😁

I don't have a problem with the thumbs up feature in general, but I hate the stupid game of who's on what list and would prefer to not be a part of that. For the health of the community I think it would be a smart move to hide those lists entirely. They create too many problems and animosity among posters.

In case you're still tracking this devon@ebay - notifications still aren't working. I just saw a post I was tagged on but there's nothing in my feed. Hopefully you get the notification for this post.

Hi devon@ebay - don't know if you'll see this tag but there are issues with notifications right now. I did not get a notification that you tagged me on this tech board post half an hour ago. It's not in my feed.

devon@ebay I'm guessing possibly related but just FYI, I have my settings set to receive email notifications for private messages and that is not working today.

I double checked spam folders as well just to make sure and am definitely not receiving emails for PMs.

Haha I was just coming here to post the same @valueaddedresource . I'm not getting emails to alert me when I have a PM here either devon@ebay .

Update 12:41pm: Two emails just came in. Based on time stamp inside message content and when received, they are on a half hour delay. Perhaps slowness with Khoros servers.

Update 12:54pm: I just got a flood of emails about PMs and accepted solutions, all on a half hour delay.

Hey @valueaddedresource & @wastingtime101 We do have a ticket open to have notifications looked into by Khoros. I am not sure on time frame but I will keep you updated as I get more information.
