For the last two days page loading and updating here on The Community has been extremely slow. Not sure if it is the site, our local internet provider (due to recent storms) or what. Anyone else having this issue? We're in south eastern PA ...

I'm not seeing a problem here............more south Central PA than you..........near Hegins

Lancaster area here ... I know about where you are, I've been to Tower City & Tremont (years ago).
Since you are in PA you might enjoy this pic, just took it out the back when getting firewood ... a flock of wild turkeys decided to pick through our yard ... by the time I got the camera they moved below our fence ... damaged one fence rail LOL!

@mr_lincoln lovely pic!
I haven't noticed that it's been slow this week.
@best_buy_complex where are you located? The reason I ask is because I want to see if perhaps you and mr_lincoln are on the same servers and that's why it's slow for you both. I'm on the west coast and it's been fine for me.

sheila@ebay I suspect it's our local service (Comcast) ... we seem to get slow service when storms come from a specific direction, which they have the last few days ... but when that happens everything online is slow ... this time it just seemed to be The Community pages (for some strange reason). That's why I checked to see if others were experiencing it ... @dhbookds is about 50 miles away as the crow flies and having no issues ...
Mr. L
(PS: would you mind sharing some of your warmer weather with those of us out here it the frozen tundra??? Hmmm?)

Seems to be working as expected here in the middle of the country, where the state motto is "We're not the middle of nowhere, but we can see it from here."
Great photo, @mr_lincoln. Thanks for posting that!

Let's give the slow Community a few days. Perhaps it's because of the storm, though I'm not sure why Best Buy is experiencing slowness.
Can we circle back, say on Monday, if it's still slow?

You are more than welcome @pburn for the pic ... love the motto! We use to say something similar when we had to go service equipment in Presque Isle, Maine ... the joke was, "it's not the end of the world but you can see it from there ..."

sheila@ebay Yes, Monday sounds good ... I was away all afternoon and just got back on ... seems to be working fine ... I suspect its an issue local to my area ... as mentioned, when storms hit from a certain direction strange things happen to our internet ... This afternoon was sunny and breezy so maybe the lines finally dried out LOL!

I was actually teasing about our state motto, but the truth is our Department of Tourism is currently using this one:
Their website is actually pretty good, if you're interested in the Great Plains: https://visitnebraska.com/

VISIT NEBRASKA.
HONESTLY, IT’S NOT FOR EVERYONE.

Haha! I love your states motto and their website @pburn. It's almost Wendy's Twitter-esque...and I mean that in a good way. 😆
