Editor v2 takes a big step forward in providing community users with a modern message editing experience. Read on to learn about all the message editor improvements.
With Editor v2, you can drag and drop images, videos, and file attachments directly to the message editing pane or as attachments to the post.
To reposition, re-size (small, medium, large) and insert a hyperlink for an image, you need only click on the image and choose the appropriate option inline.
Emojis are a powerful medium for expressing one’s thoughts and emotions. An emoji such as “👍” can be used to replace the text - “All the Best!” or “Best of Luck!” or “Well Done!”.
Editor v2 brings you the Unicode standard set of 2500+ emojis divided across 8 categories. Emojis are supported across both Apple and Windows devices.
When you click on a link or use the arrow keys to move the cursor over a link in your post, the inline link pop-up menu displays:
From the inline link pop-up menu, you can click:
We made several improvements to the message editing toolbar to optimize it and make it more consistent:
Toolbars across all discussion styles are now consistent and have the same controls. Moreover, the toolbars include many more options that cater to all messaging scenarios.
We hope you enjoy using these new features!

Thanks everyone for your reports. We experienced a few issues this morning as a result of maintenance carried out by our platform provider. The Community should be up and running as normal now.
All the best.

Did we lose the quote function?
For at least a day or two, the quote option has been missing sometimes when I post, but then it reappears if I reload the page. Using Safari 12.1.2 on a MacBook. It happened with THIS post (and then obviously was resolved).
EDIT: This seems like a good a time to mention how much I HATE (HATE!) "Click to see full quote".
ALSO: This post is supposed to have two images and the second one is not being shown; it's a repeat of the first image, but with the quote option showing. Argh.

Here's the image that I wanted to show as the second image in the previous post.
Also, the "Click to see full quote" display seems to have been triggered by the callout to alan's ID. I thought it was supposed to not happen with just a basic quote of one post, but only when there's a post-within-a-quote?
