The Community Refresh rate is ... slow

Anyone else experiencing abnormally slow page refresh rates here on The Community?  Pictures taking forever to upload on an OP's post?

It's too bad that when pages like you are seeing are acting improperly they would show up on ebay's status page.

https://www.ebay.com/sts

Or some way to report these issues on the  status page so they could be looked into proactively. I mentioned the Status page to a CS recently and they weren't even aware of the page. Makes one shake one's head!!!

It's much more likely that slow-loading pages are a result of a problem on the OP's end, not eBay's.

My concern is buyers and sellers find technical issues on a regular basis within eBay. Seems like eBay is slow to react or take accountability when it is at their end. Recent example: Item specifics. Wasn't that over 1 month to resolve?

Yes, the list is long and I know others have posted about occasional slow downs ...  it may be my service provider having line or overload issues at different times.  This forum however is not directly run by eBay ... its "powered" by a different company ...

Maybe all the slow loading pages are being caused by neverending constant stream of minor, totally unrequired changes they keep making?

Oh, yes. I'm sure that's it. You're right. It's all eBay's fault.

AWESOME ... mine straightened out so I am suspecting the local service provider not the company that runs The Community (which is not eBay btw).

Yes, you have been spot on with your replies ... yours and several others make perfect sense and the distinction between eBay's system and this (Khoros) one influences functionality too.  Typically, the refresh rate is fine and normal ... this thread was simply noting it hit a slow spot for me and I was wondering if others were having the same issue.

You and a number of others said "no" and provided OS and Browser info, VERY helpful AND it helped me figure it was most likely an issue locally ... so I suspect either my system but more than likely the local service provider.  Had a lot of others replied, "oh yeah, it's slow as molasses" then I could infer it was the site and nothing between here and there.
