How many 'Teams' are involved in ebay?

Does anybody know just how many teams are involved with the management, development, maintenance, research, running, etc., of ebay?  Is there a list of the various teams somewhere, available to the sellers/users?

Being able to suggest or request a member from a particular/specific team could be very helpful for the new monthly 'Team Chat'.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

@gracieallen01  If the Weekly Discussion is truly the link between Sellers and the various Teams then there needs to be a rep from each Team present every week ... we are only talking ONE HOUR out of their entire week ... sure each Team can spare someone for that small amount of time ...

Afraid that ship has sailed, Mr. L. The Weekly Chats are history.

Thank you @pburn  I am just now getting caught up on some reading ... finally got to the post on the 18th about how they will change to "guided chats" ... glad they took the advice ...

Have you received a lot of good feedback from former Weekly Chat participants? Is there a thread that's been started and pinned for members to submit their ideas? I generally stick to this board and the Selling board, so maybe I'm just missing how/where to make a suggestion.

We don't have a specific board or post for suggestions outside of what we asked for in this weeks chat @pburn but I can pass that request on to sheila@ebay. For now, if you come up with something you'd like us to consider for a future monthly chat, make a post and tag us and we'll be sure Sheila knows about it.

Sorry--I'm not sure what advice you're referring to. Did someone advise getting rid of the weekly chat and going to a monthly guided-chat format? Is there a post or whatever I could read regarding that advice?

Thanks. Mr. L!

From what I've seen in the past, more than once, is that timing is everything.

ebay comes out with a change or there is a major problem or ebay rolls out something flaky, all holy heck breaks loose and the next weekly chat gets 'dedicated' to that problem, with a promise of an answer, or getting someone in there to explain it away - which seldom, if ever, happens.  Or, if it does happen, it is a couple of weeks, or months, on down the line.

Having a major 'event' happen and waiting perhaps weeks, if not longer, for resolve, clarification, confirmation, explanation, etc., which ebay seemingly has no problem with, is no way to run a railroad.  I do believe that many sellers have expressed this on more than one occasion - over many years.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

With no disrespect meant or intended, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!

Just how in this world, or any other, does that help, add to, replace or accomplish ANYTHING 'immediate' other than merely to cancel the 'Weekly Chat'.  That 'send us a suggestion' is what Griff does with his blog, isn't it (if it is still running)?
