Error while trying to post to the boards

Can someone tell me if there is something up with this board in regards to that weird "red bar" error that keeps popping up after a few minutes when I'm typing a post? I forget the verbiage of the error. It changes to a different one sometimes but usually says something about an "Authentication Ticket" or something to that nature.

It's annoying and always causes the post to fail when I click submit. And if I didn't already copy my post onto a notepad or something, I'd have to re-type the whole thing to try and submit yet again. Anyone have this happening to them too? Coincidentally as I typed this post, the error didn't pop up... it's kinda random.

It  happens to everyone and it's tremendously annoying. And of course they say they're working on it.  Welcome back.

Oh okay, so it's a new glitchy glitch that popped up within the last month? It never used to happen this often before.

If you go back to the same post and hit reply again, sometimes the message I just typed will reappear if I hit reload.

It happens to me too.

Fortunately if i just hit the back button, the post is usually still there and all i have to do is hit "enter" it again. 

It rarely does that twice in a row.

Getting it alot more frequently.......and I haven't been able to recover it using the back button, etc.  nor does it "save" it to reload for some reason........

Sounds like the eBay boards has caught the glitch fever that was spread by the main eBay.com site. They should never have drank from the same cup.

It's to the point now that every time I post a reply, I copy the message into the clipboard in case it happens when I click 'post'.

Just one of those things I have to learn to accomodate ( just like the turbo lister  'country/region of manufacture' list, which stops for me at 'India' and I have to use a 4-step workaround to get 'United States' in there).

That didn't work for me because when I get the big red bar I find that I have also been logged out of the boards. The last time it happened I had written up a big reply and I just didn't have the energy to redo it so I just forgot about it.

that is when I get the red bar if I am typing a reply and take more than 45 seconds to do it then I get signed out and the red bar.

If I am just reading the through here I never get signed out, only when I want to reply and I take too long to type it then I get signed out and see the red bar.   if I go back in first part of my text is autosaved.

ok, I got kicked off for taking to long to type a response in a different thread. The red bar reads

Authentication ticket mismatched, failed authentication

And yet--even with that issue--in the last few days, you've managed to start five new threads and post over 30 other comments, so it is still possible to get posts completed.
