brian@ebay- in response to your request posted here-
Step 1- copy/paste content from an eBay page. This is the page I was looking at yesterday and I copied info from the FAQ section into a post.
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/service-and-payments/insertion-fees-update.html#m22_tb_a1__3
Step 2- click the blue post button. That should kick out an error message saying there are errors in HTML that need to be fixed.
Step 3- typically the system has auto-corrected the HTML after displaying that message so once again click the blue post button.
That's when the error about duplicate posts appeared.
I just re-created the error. Before clicking post-
After clicking post the first time-
After clicking post the second time-
Now that I removed the pasted text from the eBay page and changed the content of this post, let's hope it goes through.

Trying this out:
Why do the zero insertion fee monthly listings only apply to a select number of categories?
We carefully evaluated seller feedback to our recent listings promotions and saw an overwhelming positive response in these categories. Our sellers brought relevant inventory that buyers were searching for in these categories. We want to make it easy for sellers to continue to bring the inventory that our buyers are searching for and we’ve decided to make these changes permanent. We’ll continue to monitor the response and make adjustments as we identify new opportunities to improve the monthly listings benefit.

@coffeebean832 what browser are you using? I want to make sure I'm using the same one if possible.

Brave. I can attempt to duplicate it with Firefox if that would help.

If that wouldn't be to much trouble then it would help.

Thanks! I've sent these examples to Khoros for review 🙂

Thanks, Brian. I can understand the post flooding message if my first post actually went live- but when it's kicked out with an HTML error message then I shouldn't see a post flood restriction when I make another attempt at posting.

brian@ebay- I just saw a post from @mam98031 on the selling board that she ran into the same red error message trying to copy/paste- so it's not just me.
Mam- would you share your browser info with Brian in case he needs it for the ticket? Thanks!

Oh I have been able to C&P for at least a couple weeks. Not as long as the other problems that are quickly approaching THREE months and no fix. But yes. I can't even C&P an ebay policy. Links are fine.

I found that the flooding message often happened if there was a C&P portion to the post.

Well here is something odd. I did test earlier on this thread if I could C&P and it allowed it. I edited my post so you can't see my test. But I'll do it again below.
Hello everyone. This is just a test to see if I can cut and paste this from a Word document.
So then I went out to the selling board and nope, still can't. I got a red now way notice, I hit enter again because that would work in the older version of the boards because C&P was sometimes an issue even then. But hitting reply again would take care of that issue most times. But now we get this:
And a new one that surfaced for me a couple weeks or more ago that I didn't report is that sometimes when you go to reply to a thread, there are issues. You hit reply and it the button disappears and the following message appears.
I've gotten this same message from time to time when trying to leave a thumbs up for someone. It takes a couple of tries to get it to commit.
I know it is getting real old to have to continue to discuss these issues that have happened for months now, but what else are we to do. There seems to be literally zero improvement since this all started over two months ago and things just only have gotten worse.

@coffeebean832 Khoros is investigating this one still. It's really strange because it effects some posters and not other (I can replicate it, but I can see that it's definitely happening to some). Thanks for surfacing more examples to me 🙂

I'm now seeing a new version of the post flooding issue.
After the annoying HTML error and correcting it we can't attempt to post for a full minute- even though the first post never actually went through. How is it flooding if the first post didn't go through?
The HTML it forced me to correct was nothing more than a copy/pasted URL from the page my browser was on.
