Look at my OP. Words with the letter W and numbers also affected. W inconsistently. Also seeing brackets and other punctuation affected.

Will this post work for me or will the bleep cancel it out?

I think it might be fixed go-forward. All previous post content is permanently lost to the bleeps.

This seems to be record-breaking speed for fixing a glitch!

Hello all! We're aware there was a brief issue where any words beginning with "F" were being bleeped. Thanks for the quick heads up. It's been resolved and you should be able to use "F" words again. 😉

I'm going to pretend that reporting my OP to the mods and alerting Khoros is the reason for such a quick fix. 😂

You've definitely earned the legitimate right to give yourself the "solution" to your own thread! 😂

LOL -- this really did happen. It was brief, but a wonderful source of hilarity.
Here's the proof; this was the thread where I first got f-bleeped. 🤣

I love it ... this is what that post looked like for me at first (and still does now, until I try to quote it):
[EDIT: well, it showed the emoji in the quote, until I posted it. I guess some effects are still lingering.]
"rolling-on-the-**bleep**" -- gotta luv it.

Yes--it was any word that started with "f," including within the description of the emojis!
I don't think any of the affected posts will revert back to whatever the member intended to say. If the members are still interested in pursuing their topics, it will have to be resubmitted.
Oh, well. At least it was something most of us can laugh about, and it went away pretty quickly!

I was editing my post on the Dead Sales Link thread, to demonstrate the glitch for velvet@ebay when it got fixed. Interestingly, the post I was editing doesn't have any bleeps anymore -- they got fixed when I posted the revision after the glitch was fixed.
I think it's odd that the post of yours that I was quoting; it shows bleeped in the actual post, but in the quote it shows the emoji. But then, it goes back to being f-bleeped when I post the quote. It still does, I just tried again:

That made me laugh, so I decided to be generous and give the solution to you. 😆

Yes, but, as I posted yesterday, using those letters together is, was, and shall continue to be a violation of the profanity rule because it actually represents a very common and widely known prohibited phrase. Posting any kind of word that uses symbols, like *** or ### in conjunction with a couple of the letters of the word, or using an acronym like the one you were trying to post is still a violation. Use OMG or OFGS, but don't use the one you were trying to use--even though that's not what you meant. Sometimes we just have to take the time to type out a phrase like "freight forwarders" instead of abbreviating everything.
