So I guess from past convos with ebay it was told to me that ebay does not run this community forums page.
It is run by users?
If this is the case should they be allowed to remove posts or move them if they contain no foul language or anything that warrants there removal or to be hid? Atleast 1 of my posts has been hidding from you guys seeing it.
Let me know if anyone else is not having there posts not get viewed by anyone or hidden!
Thanks, have a wonderful day all and keep selling!

This community just like any other community has a Terms of Service and Acceptable Use. These govern this community and the moderators do their best to enforce this. I am able to see this post and I have not had the issue you are having. I would be curious to see what others have to say.

The SNAD one? It has several comments. You also directed it to Trinton right at the top of your OP so I don’t know why you would expect others to comment?
it shows 130 unique viewers so people are certainly seeing it.

The boards are managed by Lithium, and all posters must follow the guidelines for posting here, you can see them at the top of the page.If your posts are not getting viewed its because no one here is interested in viewing them.

There a many, many threads started every day. Some garner little interest.
If not responded to they drop lower, and lower on the boards.
If there is no response right away they can fall out of sight unless the viewer is only looking at a particular board.
I am set up to see all.
Mods may move a thread to another board. Maybe you don't know where it is.
Mods may delete posts when necessary. Posted is generally notified why. I do not think they "hide' them.

It is also posted in the knowledge base not the discussion board. I don’t know what the difference is but they are structured the same and it is confusing. I don’t use the knowledge base.

Apparently hiding in plain sight 😀

I would repost it here as new...nothing wrong with repeating yourself lolol. Unless that process is against the rules. No one ever knows.

6. Avoid duplicate, repetitive

Technically the rule says to avoid repetitive posts in the community. This one was posted in the knowledge base so it wasn’t actually part of the community.
plus the spirit of the rules was to address spamming the boards. Not so much situations like this where a post was apparently posted to deepest darkest Africa.

Well, agree, but the question would be......... is it hidden? Was it moved? Where did it post to start? Was it deleted?

I don’t know why mods would ever move a thread from community to the knowledge base?
however as I said, I’ve been posting here for 20 years and have no idea what the knowledge base does

Hi @brettyg599,
We're going to move this topic. It doesn't belong on this board as it doesn't relate to Selling. The most appropriate board is https://community.ebay.com/t5/Community-Platform-Feedback/bd-p/CommunityNews
If you create topics on incorrect boards, they will be moved to the board we feel is the most appropriate.
Thank you & I hope this helps.
