I want to "ignore" another member--which means s/he is blocked from sending me private messages. There used to be a big, blue "ignore" button on a member's profile page for that purpose. Does anyone know where that function is now?
What about any other members I previously had on "ignore?" Are they now able to send me a private message? Or will private messages from them still be blocked?

There is a second gear icon in the inbox pane of the messages page, which includes a "manage friends & ignored" section. It appears to have carried over previous usernames that were ignored, as far as I can tell.

@pburn I guess you will have to wait until they message you at least once then you can select the gear symbol next to the trash can on the PM. The drop-down has ignore or add friend.

If you have a message from said person, open the message, click the gear/wheel and it will show ignore user or unfriend.
or the inbox on the left, click that gear and manage friends or ignored.
Don’t know if that helps, but...

Thanks to both of you. I deleted the "inappropriate" messages from these members after reporting the messages to the mods (which was a nice enhancement from the previous iteration), so I don't have them anymore.
Fingers crossed I don't receive any untoward messages, but, if I do, I'll use the gear icon as both of you suggested. The nice thing about the old "Ignore" button was that I could be preemptive. I could block potential private messages in advance instead of having to read at least some of the choice suggestions I've received from other members.
Two steps forward . . .
