For me it would be the returns. The switch to 30/day free returns to keep TS badge has been a nightmare.
I dont necessarily want them to get rid of it, just make it for NEW items only. I just can't be expected to be responsible for 50 yr old electronics to work like new.

A lot more than you think. Know of & work for manufacturers that 'ranked & rated' their distribution network/dealers and some that rated & ranked their end user base. Oh there is the Better Business Bureau Rankings too. Think people every day get rated & rated by their credit score by 3 different agencies. There are more.....

Didn't read the responses but I would like to have a site where the sellers could only list in their own countries but let buyers that want to shop whatever country they want to. For example if a seller lived in the USA then they could list on the USA site only but as a buyer if they chose to shop with china then they would have to visit that country version site to shop with them.

I hope you don't mind, but I am going the opposite way.
What is the one change I wish eBay would not make
1 - do not kill Turbo Lister.
2 - do not end up changing pages (like Unsold) so that I can only see 3 items at a time and I end up having to scroll more
3 - do not implement GTC as only choice for listing FP listings
Sorry that is 3 instead of 1 but if I really think about it, I probably could come up with more.

Segregation of Marketplaces by country. That has often been proposed.

I think you are not alone with that. Just one thing to change is limiting.

VERY FRUSTRATING eBay!! I work 10 times as hard to make 1/10th the money, if that now.
It didn't used to be this way, but now a buyer only has to say his big toe felt funny when he got the package and seller is out money. Not kidding, they can say anything and it's on us. In what World can a buyer return a brand new product because she didn't like the packaging box the bottle came in? Yep, I had to eat a return from a crazy person, not eBay, ME! A box she threw away. This kind of abuse is intolerable to me. If eBay wants to allow frivolous returns for any reason, like the sun wasn't out that day then eBay should return the buyers money as the seller did their job 100% correctly and without incident.
But no, eBay owns nothing we sell (that I know of), but they are happy to give my money back to crooks, losers, scammers, thieves, remorse sales, renters, people who cannot read, people who found it cheaper thanks to eBay sticking that cheaper item on my page!, teens with their parents credit cards, and ad nauseam.
eBay is probably the most corrupt platform now, no other site makes me nervous to list an item wondering if it will make it all the way through without some negative nonsense that will likely end in me losing money.
China and big box should NOT get any better deals than a USA (non China drop shipper) seller has, period. Level the playing field, force some of these Chinese sellers to bring THEIR prices up to a reasonable price. I know this is never happening as CEO announced eBay was going with Chinese Merchants and are giving them a better deal than their US sellers. UNFAIR ADVANTAGE. Period.
I would like eBay to BALANCE this mess out, sellers are getting scared to list bigger ticket items (like myself), everything I sell now I hold my breath on. I list way more on another site now, pretty sad to even admit that.

Modernize mainly. eBay is still stuck in 1999. On another platform I sell at, I can announce my listing automatically on 5 major social media sites with one click. I know from analytics it has lead to a few extra sales. I don't know why eBay refuses to invest in its own platform. After 3 days of receipt, no SNADs are allowed. They still happen but its a fraction of what it is here. It isn't perfect there (lowballers are worse there than here). I can go on vacation with a swipe no fees involved. Honestly features like vacation mode should be free, its a crime that it isn't. I feel valued at the other site and that even though their cut is larger than here, I am an active participant in my own business and can make decisions on sales and pricing without waking up to find my listings being altered. I still love eBay and think it has a place, but after seeing the other side I am scratching my head as to why eBay can't out do its competitors on so many levels, but it wont, it WANTS to stay in 1999. eBay has such a great opportunity to modernize and find a happy medium between giving scammers free roam and protecting buyers and sellers.
