bought an item (shirt) and it was from a new seller....
it had a stain and some "distressed material" i.e holes in the fabric that were not disclosed...also a little smelly.
advertised as a womans size small it was a man size small.
BUT.....over all its ok, I am not that fussy
got the stain out and washed it...as for the micro tears in the collor and lower hem
eh, its ok.
new new seller...did not charge enough for shipping.
I simply cannot leave a negative its not in my nature at all.
so what kind of feedback should I leave?

I know my negative would drum him right out of eBay so I take this seriously.
it was shipped very quickly and it cost the seller about $4 more than he charged.
I think some of you are focusing on a filthy shirt with holes.
no, that is not what I said. It has some distressed fabric around the collar and hem
and it had a few stains, spots etc that washed out. mens small vs. womans small.
yep that one could not be fixed.....but it stills fits. the smell washed out completely.
I'll email him and let him know. I am easy going, so much drama in this life is making me crazy.
kindess is what counts and I think this seller meant well, I don't know what kind of battle he is in, BUT
if he tells me to pound sand then that is different.

Morning,
You know the seller and events better than we do and that's the most important thing.
I know some will think my response was harsh...but really...some folks are just not meant to be in retail at all and I fully understand that you want to be kind and understanding. You reaching out to the seller says just that.
Please let us know how this ends...it will also give posters an opportunity to evaluate their responses to you.

Thanks Mr.C.
I did reach out to him and we will see how that goes!
Its hard to others constructively but I left him a positive first..
for shipping quickly ---and overall the price was good for a pretty expensive shirt.
I know some on here will disagree with that...but we all start out at a beginning somewhere....

what did I write?? its hard to criticize others....is what I meant to say

I am glad you are on eBay. Your positive attitude is inspiring.

Do consider leaving negative feedback if the seller isnt receptive to criticism or gets nasty.

and some "distressed material" i.e holes in the fabric that were not disclosed.
-----------------------------------
It's visable in the photo's, didn't you notice it ? The seller didn't mention the damage in the description, but the seller did make sure it was in the pics. Sneaky.
The seller has got some nerve stating the shirt is like new.
This seller has pulled a fast one, and got away with it.
I'll say it again, there is some shifty people behind some new accounts.

Well the OP is obviously willing to forgive the unforgiveable and apparently already left positive feedback so nothing more to say or do.

nah, this is the reply I got:
Good morning,
Thank you for the positive feedback! I am new to selling on eBay, so I appreciate the advice.
I will update my description and pics for the xxxxxxx
Thanks, again! I hope you enjoy the sweatshirt.

I've read somewhere that kindness is really the only thing.
at least give someone a chance before you throw them under the bus.
we all know that one negative will certainly ruin you on here.
at least the small sellers that we so desperately want back.

You could email them instead with some advice. If you feel the need to leave feedback, maybe do a neutral with some comments about them being a new seller who needs to be more careful before listing their items.
