I had heard about sending buyers un-solicited offers and last night while on ebay I was reviewing my active listings and I got a page that allowed me to send buyers an offer. I sent a bunch of offers and surprise surprise, I got a sale out of it. Now I want to send some more offers but I can't find that page anywhere! has anyone else tried this?

What I would like to know is how are the buyers who get offers are selected? I just sent out around 100 offers and one listing had 10 watchers on it but only 5 buyers were sent the offer, another listing had 5 watchers and 4 were sent offers out of the 5, another listing also had 5 watchers but only 2 offers were sent? This scenario applied to all cases even with watchers of 2 on an item, not all the watchers received the offers. I am wondering and this is onl ya guess is if it may have something to do with my SITE PREFERENCES being set for BLOCKING Bidders and Buyers who have more than 2 unpaids in a year? this is only a guess, like if these accounts would not be able to buy anyways from me because of my settings?

Glad the link worked & Tyler is trying to help.
There are several reasons offers don't go to certain watchers.......they can mark their preferences to receive no marketing info......plus Ebay does make a determination on how many to send to each buyer, so not to overwhelm anyone. I would "guess" there many be other reasons.....i.e. this buyer watches alot but never buys, etc..........

Even if it’s a cheap item, send an offer 50 to 1.00 less and the buyer might accept. I sell mainly cheap diecast and had a sale from sending an offer. The buyer later bought 2 more cars. My goal is to reduce inventory, make a colllector happy and make a few bucks.

Yes I agree even if you lower the price by 5% this will kick start some sales, I am happy to report that I used this tool for the first time today because a very helpful boardie helped me by sending me a link for a work around and I have had 2 sales for 100 bucks so far because of this new feature! I personally am very pleased to have this option available to me as a seller and as a buyer on my other account! Two Thumbs Up For Ebay on this one!

It's only available to items that do not have variations

@ekmadonna wrote:I don't have it, I brought up the exact screen shot you showed on my seller hub and all I have is the "SHOW ELIGIBILITY" circle , the "PROMOTED LISTINGS" circle check box and "NONE" circle check box there is no circle check box for "OFFER TO BUYERS", I really would like to have access to this feature, a blue stated yesterday in community chat that EVERYONE should have this feature by now and I still do not?
In Seller Hub, look for CUSTOMIZE in the upper right-hand corner. That is where you select what you want to see above your list of active items. Make sure the box for OFFERS is selected. When you go back to your selling page, along with the other items you are seeing, you will now see the OFFERS button. Click on it, and you'll see the bulleted notation under your listings indicating which ones you've sent offers to, which ones are not eligible and which ones you can send offers to.
That should do the trick for you, and then you'll be set.

fwiw - this account doesn't have it showing either.
Like ekmadonna all I have on actives on the Hub is a circle for promoted & show eligibility.
I did find however that if go to my ebay all selling and click active from there I have the send offer button.

Thanks for the tag @myjunqueyourtreasure - thanks for sharing the All-Selling workaround, and I'll see if I can get your Seller Hub updated too.
@ekmadonna - you should be all set. It should look like this in Active Listings in Seller Hub (screenshot below). If you're not seeing that I'd recommend clearing cache/cookies and restarting your browser. Thanks!

Is Immediate Payment Required attached to this feature in any way? I quit using BO because of an unacceptable percentage of non-payers. If a listing has multiple watchers, and a deal is hot, I think I'd be more willing to try it if IPR were added to my offers. If a shopper can tie up my item by delaying or ignoring payment after accepting an offer....I guess I just don't see much of a point to using this feature at all. Just my $0.02.

Thank you Tyler, I found it with the guidance of your screen shot. I can report that I do have this function now. Keep Up the Good Work!
