payment hold (Why) ?

And yes this is a new account. but I am very familiar with the eBay I was power seller with hundreds thousands and sale. I sold on eBay for a company. I understand why they would do this. but what I do not understand is just have two sales 1 they release the funds 24 hours after confirmation of delivery. ( with no feedback received from the buyer) the second sale showing delivery and positive feedback from the buyer they're holding the funds

In the meantime I had to pay for shipping on both out of my pocket and they took all their fees out already

now reading their own rules the funds should have been released. the item was delivered and tracking number was put in and I received, positive feedback on the sale 

can anybody tell me why they're still holding the funds and do I get interest on this with them holding the founds

I'm guessing clockwork orange payment was released within 24 hours and beatles payment is still on hold? It's due to the dollar amount.

eBay can hold funds up to 21 days regardless of delivery confirmation and with large amounts and new sellers they often do-

No- you will not receive any interest on the funds.

The point of this whole message is if customer received the product and they are happy with the product

There's absolutely no reason for eBay to hold the money

I went through the self-help stuff for about two hours before I even posted anything

maybe you should reread it because there's nothing in there about (if the sale goes perfect and the customer happy.) ..... (No matter what they will hold the funds)

 (I have not sold anything on eBay for over five years)

There are still scams that could be run even with delivery and pos feedback........  That's the reason the reserve the right to hold the payment for so long....

How can your fellow sellers here see that one of your buyers never paid?

You can contact customer service and request they release the funds, but if they're holding it because of the risk level then your efforts may be fruitless.

Hi, there is a process in place to release funds for shipping. See the two links, along with how to get your funds quicker (in case you haven't seen this info).

“Can I pay for shipping with money in my pending balance?

When you print labels and pay for shipping through PayPal or eBay, the cost of shipping is released from your pending balance shortly after purchase. Printing labels on PayPal and eBay is free. You pay only the cost of shipping the item.”

To eBay, you're a new seller.  ALL new sellers have the same rules and restrictions.

If/when there is tracking proving delivery to the buyer, funds should be released in a day or two.

No tracking? Funds can be held up to 21 days.

Recent addition:  If this is an item that sold for $1,000 or more, eBay can hold the funds for 21 days.

The buyer can still claim anything, even INR - I've seen post here on the forums over 30 days after delivery and tracking confirmation.

Could be an ebay account takeover........credit card theft, id theft.......plus some I probably don't know about.......

If the item sold for more then $1000.00, they'll probably hold the funds for the full 21 days.

They started that the last couple months.

I do understand the rules of eBay. The buyer is always right. but when they leave positive feedback that cannot be changed. eBay needs to protect the sellers. eBay has to protect the buyers otherwise no one would buy on eBay! . I learned that a long time ago the buyer is always right. It doesn't change the fact but they leave positive feedback. Then they're looking to scam somebody.
