Good Lord, when did punctuation and capitalization go extinct?

With that said, I seriously doubt ebay is going to miss a 97% feedback seller.

Re: forced managed payments and no more pay pal. epic fail

If you worked a 9-5 job you'd have to wait 2 weeks for your paycheck.   EBay found a way to handle the money that is more benifical to them as a business.  I need them to be as successful as possible and have no ill feeling for the decision to institute managed payments.

People need to quit with the other job comparisons.  It means nothing.  People who sell online want to be paid NOW.  It's THEIR money.  Not eBay's or whoever (Ayden?).  NO reason to go from a same day payment system to 4,5,6 days waiting plan.  It's a downgrade.  BTW - eBay's success does not help it's sellers in any way.  It doesn't get passed on to you.   lol

PP spoiled us by "fronting" the payment while it was still processing.  Even in 2021, everything in the world is not "instant".

I am fortunate in that I do not need my funds the moment a buyer pays. I do understand that some do.

MP has worked just fine for me for over 20 months. Money could be snatched back for 180 days with PP, so I never had chicken dinner for a while with that money anyway.

Some will stay. Some will leave. Do what you must. You may find similar practices at other sites.

PP was the one that did NOT want to renew their contract with Ebay, partially because they no longer wanted to 'front' the $ immediately. So, there is NO CHOICE here.

No idea where you got that idea.....it's simply not true in any shape or form.

Re: forced managed payments and no more pay pal. epic fail

I'm on MP not because I wanted to, but you know how it goes.  Here's my feeling.  Let's say you have 2 people. One has MP & the other is totally opposed for various reasons.  Each of there people start talking to other people.  It's not long before the one opposed has a group of people who are negative regarding MP.  The one that has MP but is silent about it hardly has anyone.  People tend to go along with the negative point of view no matter what it is.  I don't see why Sellers are so negative about MP.  If you don't like it, quietly go away.  MP is here to stay, so get over it.  eBay doesn't care.  It's their way or the highway.  It gets very tiring hearing about the negatives.  I very rarely read anything, because I can't deal with the quibbling.  Yes, there are problems, but there are problems in life.  I'm sorry for venting, but maybe we all need a change of attitude.

They don't hate sellers. They are simply a for-profit corporation leveraging their dominance in the marketplace. I suspect that history has shown them that (a) sellers generally do not leave; and (b) the ones who do leave have negligible effect on eBay.

I'm probably gunna take my page down soon

"probably" and "soon" don't sound very definitive for someone who thinks eBay is going backwards, hates them and is playing too many games with them.
