Buyer lied about the reason he wanted to return item and eBay let him get away with it. Wasted my time and money . guess they are trying to complete with amazon where you can return any thing for any reason?? He will be banned from buying any thing from me in the future.

I had a buyer destroy an item and take a picture of it. It was listed with defects and small snags through out the blouse. She shredded the blouse saying she was so disappointed. I blocked the buyer, reported her to Ebay (they will do nothing) and refunded her money. This is what makes me want to close my shop. That and the fact that Ebay has taken so much from us over the years. Will it ever get better?

this is a frequent complaint on the boards.its a good thing they were just a lier and not a scammer
ebay gives buyers the tool to use and it gets abused.............its the MBG or the easy return button
buyers have been manipulating the reasons for a return for a long time
most of my returned items come back the same way

When the buyer finds themselves blocked they can just open a new account to repeat the process if they see something else that they want to check out, and return. Make a list with such buyers on your BBL so that you can compare future purchase delivery addresses.
With me, eBay allowed a buyer to change the "reason for return" after they discovered that they would be required to pay the return shipping. A BBL buyer had created a new ID to purchase the same item, from the same listing, only to be returned for the same reason as the 1st purchase.

eBay has made this site a rental service. Pay $x for 30 days and after that it's yours.
I wish whomever is running this ship would wake up and look around.

Does anyone know how many returns ebay will allow a buyer before it triggers their "radar"? Hopefully not too many.
