Just sold a box of mask and buyer opened a dispute saying it is not made in the USA and it is not authentic. However, I never stated my product was made in in the USA. I have two listing photos clearly showed the product was made in China. And yet, ebay decided to side with the buyer and asking me to pay return shipping and issuing refund. What is going on ebay?

That's just how it works.
The explanations are complex, but that's how it works, and how it will continue to work.

It appears being a seller on ebay is a tough business. The notion that I can buy anything on ebay then complain it is not made in the USA worries me. Buyers don't even need to be creative to win a case. It makes me wonder what 'ebay seller protection' really means.
It is better to take a small loss than investing thousands into a business that is destined to fail. Going to close this account after the dispute then move on.

You know little about the construction and standards of the masks made in China. The country takes masks very seriously.

It seems you're new around here.
Hang around, we're a friendly bunch if you're looking to figure things out. Most of us could write an entire essay on the answer to that question, and we like explaining things.
But if you're pushing that things are wrong because they work differently than you might have imagined, you're likely to get something short of a charitable reaction.

Look around the internet and add her to every scam buyer list you can. You'll get no help from eBay
