I want to offer a discount like "buy $50 and save 15%" on all of my
items. Do I need to pause my volume discounts so that eBay doesn't give
a double discount for those items? Or are their bots smart enough to
only calculate one offer for a sale?
For me, anyway. Buyer pays, item shipped and received in 2 days. Then he
says "I didn't order this. Someone must have hacked my account. I need
to return it". He didn't notice the confirmation e-mail? (Or maybe he

Many of my items feature volume pricing. I'd like to set a storewide
Black Friday sale, do I need to pause all my volume prices so that
buyers don't get a double discount, or is there something in eBay's
programming that recognizes both and stops one...
I take 3-4 photos of the outside of the book, then if it is a used book
I will go page by page to make sure they are all there and take pictures
of any stray marks, highlighting, dogears, creases, etc.
It's more like a summer shutdown right now. Small seller here whose
sales in the last 2 years have gone from 15-25 items shipped per day to
maybe that many per week. I review my prices against other sellers

Funny how people will claim they didn't order something or their account
was "hacked", but they never refuse a package or return what they claim
they didn't buy. And the few times this has happened to me it was
something less that $15. If you hacked ...
If they open a claim, input the tracking and wait. You have, I think, 3
days to respond further. Many of my INRs show up in that 3 day time
frame and eBay closes the case if they don't hear from the buyer. I will
also chat with eBay and let them know...
For the first few, but after no replies I stopped bothering. As people
here like to say "that's the cost of doing business". More like internet
shoplifting to me
