The Winter 2024 Seller Update is live! https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/resources/seller-updates/2024-winter/
Honestly it's much lighter than I expected and it's noteworthy there are pretty much no new features being announced.
The big news is the per transaction fee is going from $0.30 to $0.40 for orders over $10 across all categories.

And eBay has finally provided some official info about the changes to unpaid items for offers that keep the listing active until someone pays that we've all been scratching our heads over for a couple months now.

Other than that, it's basically drafts being saved for 75 days.

Sell Faster Tools added to Active Listings page in Seller Hub

"We understand this change could impact the economics of selling lower-priced items. That’s why for orders $10 and under, there’ll be no change and you’ll continue to be charged the current rate of $0.30."
Phew.

Pretty much all my orders by the time you add shipping and taxes paid

Yep.
That Order Price does *not* equal Item Price may trip up new/uninformed sellers of low priced goods.

So, they cut 1,000 jobs and then raise seller fees!
The nickel & dime system can be very profitable! Play with the math.
Say eBay does 500,000 sales per day. Probably way more as a global company).
500,000 x .10 = $50,000

god forbid they do something for their buisness. be thankful its only .10 thats nothing compared to the price raises everywhere else over the last three years. pass it on

ANYONE know what the NEW Ebay Standard Envelope Categories are as stated in the new 2024 update?
ps: thanks ebay for providing ZERO details!!!

That is kind of the new corporate model across the board.
Let's raise prices until we see a decline in sales. Then we know we reached our peak. I see this a lot at the grocery store. In the past year, prices were high, then I started seeing a drop in the past 6 months. Now, they are trying to replay the game.
This even flows over to sporting events, concerts, and so on.

Looks like Canada is getting the $0.10 increase too.

@gibsonguitarparts that was in a section that was basically just a recap of other updates they had already announced over the last few months so I'm guessing it's just referring to this announcement from November when they added patches, stickers, greeting cards, and seeds.

THANK YOU SIR!!!!

Looks like Ebay is doubling down on low priced items which are unprofitable for the sellers.
No fee increase, more options for ESE.
This means the rest of us are going to drown in a sea of crap listings.

Have to think about what percentage I'm willing to pay with promoted listings standard with this new fee increase.
eBay raised fees so I just lowered the percentage on my current campaigns. And removed my lower priced items from them. Bundled items and lots may be the way to go.
Yes, I know the increase is just 10 cents but that "$10 and under" is a bit of smoke since pretty much all of my under $10 priced with free shipping will get charged once eBay adds in their final value fee, etc.
