You asked, and we delivered. Does it get any better than that?

We’ve added several new features to the Seller Console interface, all designed to help you:

• Drive more traffic to your store

• Increase visibility and viewership per event

• Gain more flexibility and control

Check out the highlights below!

Livestream

• We relocated the livestream tab to the center of your Host Console. Also updated the LIVE icon on the front page of ebay live to make it easier for buyers to find. 
• You can now edit the price of any auction (AUC) or Buy it Now (BIN) item directly from the host console during the livestream.

Listing(s) Management 

• The Product section has been renamed to Listing management and shifted to the left side of the Host Console for easier access and visibility of your listings.
• Listings will now automatically update to show you the number of bids, accepted and rejected bids, the highest bidder username and remaining auction time.
• You can choose to update the Sequence of your listings directly from the Host Console during the livestream or set it up in advance through the “Listings” Tab

New Item Features

• You can now set items as  “Purchasable” in your store to enable your Live audience to buy them (note: this does not affect your Core listings).
• Items marked as visible can be viewed in the lineup, but not purchased.
• You can now Pin (ONE Item) to be featured on your screen. The item you Pin will have a “Featured Tag” in the item lineup

Final Sale

• When an auction ends the winner will automatically be displayed with final sale, price and “SOLD” mark.

Chat Tab

• You can now find the Chat tab on the right side of the Console.

I'm unfamiliar with the "Live Console" myself, but I fail to see how a bunch of cosmetic changes are going to work these sales miracles.  I've been asking eBay to go back to "Accept Offer" on seller-initiated offers (instead of requiring buyers to "Go to checkout" and buy them all separatley), because this would drive more traffic to my store.  So far, they haven't "delivered" on that one, and I have yet to gain more flexibility and control.

Could you tell some of us who have no idea what you are talking about...........what you are talking about?  I use Seller Hub.......have no idea what Seller Console is.......  I presume something to do with Livestream, but really have no idea what that is......can you give a link?

I do see there is "Live" group, but that is a closed group..........perhaps you mean this message to go there?

Well, your problem is that you simply do not believe what you are being told.  In the real world, that’s called “being wise,” but online and here in the eBay universe, it’s a prescription for failure, as we all know. 😁

Put another way, you simply must believe in the “magic” of eBay, as it’s CEO likes to remind us.

And I have to admit that I did laugh at the line, “you asked, and we delivered, does it get any better than that?”

I’m still not sure what’s being delivered.

Never heard of the "Live Console" & I'm a Mentor.   Is this being posted to the correct board?  The last post didn't seem to be.  We all asked a bunch of questions, none of which were answered & then your post was deleted.  

kyle@ebay  elizabeth@ebay devon@ebay  khalil@ebay  Can one of you clarify what this is & if it's pertinent to us?   I would hate to see a lot of time & effort wasted again, just like the other day when this person started a thread that referred to some customers as trolls.  Who is this & why are they suddenly posting here about things that don't seem at a glance to have anything to do with us?   I'm assuming this has something to do with the Whatnot competitor, who's name I don't even remember, eBay Live, maybe?  If so,  even as a Mentor, I wouldn't have the first clue as to how/where to go to set up a "live" event.  Is there a more appropriate board?  Or if not, can they introduce themselves & start with the basics?   

The majority here, are very long term sellers who use the Web interface & have never seen or heard of the "Seller Console interface" &/or the "live console", whatever that is & would have no idea where to find it?   Seems a waste to get 30 answers again saying we have no idea what this person is talking about & then the whole thread gets deleted again.

Sellers have been begging for transparency for years.  

I’d love to see some of that delivered.

khalil@ebay  This is the Selling Board. I believe the Livestream Sellers have their own (members only) Board. I believe that is where this belongs. Putting it on this Board just inevitably confuses people.
