Yes, I agree one of seller's message. I don't feel comfortable sending out the orders before I get the payment. eBay forces us to leave. The more I read the discussion the more I want to leave eBay now. I rather look for the other platform to sell my items.

We won't get our payment in 2 or 3 days. Not like PayPal that we get our payment before we ship the orders. we should get the payment before we ship. We have to protect ourselves since eBay doesn't care about its sellers.

@funchoice  ~ based on your sold listings for April and May, you had a nice April and are on your way to a nice May.  Why would you want to give that up to go start over somewhere else?  We do daily payouts and we receive a payment M-F, just not on the weekends and it is typically 2-3 days post the sale date.  Comes into our set-aside checking like clockwork.

You're obviously not a new Seller  - just do not understand why so many want to abandon a Seller account they have worked so hard to build?

Thanks so much for your post. I have been delaying signing up because of not knowing how to pay for the shipping. Was thinking I needed to keep my PayPal loaded for label purchases. But if the funds can come from the buyer's payment then I've been worrying for nothing! I have until 5-21 to enroll. No more procrastinating!

As indeed you should.  You should not sell on any platform that you dislike and distrust.  Good luck in finding one where you are happy.
