Why did Ebay take away the SKU# filter?

It looks like they added the SKU# search in the active listings to DESCRIPTION / SKU / TITLE combo search. Where if you enter any a word or numbers it will search in all these places. This is NOT going to be helpful because I specifically use the SKU...

listing an item with different colors available
