I'm directly in the path, but I have a 2 day shipping time so anything selling say on Friday has until Tuesday (and will ship on Saturday anyway)

We're in the path in Dallas, TX, but today we saw it's supposed to be over cast April 8th.
Will have to wait and see if the weather forecast changes between now and then.

I made a big long post about that a day or so ago...
I've decided I'm not shipping Monday.

We are directly in the path and it has been on the news constantly! Have the glasses and ready to watch from the comfort of my own backyard. I live in a sleepy town, but with it all over the news, I expect extra traffic. Schools are closed--surprised it isn't a shipping holiday!

@psfhobbies wrote:YES NW Pa gonna see the Total Eclipse here... Up in Erie they are selling hotel rooms for $1000.00 a night!
No one should be on i79 or 90 anywhere near Erie They are expecting like 100,000 people
I'm near Niagara (in Canada) and they're expecting a million people here.

Well a solar eclipse is fun, but it is a rather frequent occurrence. If you really want something special Venus, Neptune, Saturn and Mars will all be in alignment on April 4 (tomorrow). Best seen in the northern hemisphere.
Now for the purists, all 8 won't align until May 6, 2492. Save the date.

I don't even know what the path is let alone WHEN it is.
You need to get out more often.

In my area, the eclipse turned out to be a non-issue. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, I suppose.
weather even cooperated in central Ohio - almost clear skies, low 70’s 🙂
