Zero Notifications

I have t been receiving any notifications on sales, messages, returns, etc. No emails, notifications, or sales came thru for about a week. Now they all showed up and I have cases pending because I didn’t know anything had sold. I checked everything and it appears that none of my settings have changed. Anyone else experience this or am I just doing something wrong?

Re: Zero Notifications

You should check your my eBay daily.  Anything else is just plain asking for trouble.

Re: Zero Notifications

Can't depend on emails.  I login to seller hub everyday to check for tasks.

On all selling accounts.

Did your seller hub or ebay page not show anything?

Re: Zero Notifications

I never check my email, only the seller hub.  Could be your email provider thinks eBay is spam.

Re: Zero Notifications

Check your Settings to be sure you're allowing the communications you want.

I DO use emails, though I'm always on the site too, and I have been receiving all my emails.  It's either a settings issue or an issue with your email provider.

Re: Zero Notifications

I have had delayed notifications by email, but I suspect that it was a server issue.

The sales were showing in "my messages" on eBay when I check my selling on a regularly basis.

Re: Zero Notifications

What you're doing wrong is not checking your account daily, but rather depending on emails.

@raybuam

I would make sure a couple of times a day, you log into Seller Hub, click on "overview" and make certain there is not something you need to address.

How many Buyer issues were pending/past due??

Be sure to address everything ASAP and email your Buyers affected quickly also.  Good luck!

Re: Zero Notifications

Did you try powering down the phone & restarting the phone? Just like a computer, sometimes you need to power down to reset any updates. Always double check at ebay.com to double check your messages & transactions.

Good luck!

Re: Zero Notifications

If you have several cases pending, then you haven't checked your account for quite some time. Good luck to you.

Re: Zero Notifications

I have a website. They just changed their 'email' carrier system.

Now all emails go to my 'spam' folder from my website for orders.

When I 'move' from spam to 'inbox' the Mail Carrier System (Microsoft) asks 'never put this email address in spam folder again?

I click 'YES'

6 months later; everything still goes to 'spam'

Moral of the Story: Check the direct source. Always.

Re: Zero Notifications

Yes, this is an ongoing problem with eBay. I've been experiencing the same thing for the past couple of weeks, and on and off for years now (there are numerous conversations on here about it). On occasion an email will come through, but that's the exception. And they're not going to spam - I've checked. Emails from other sources are coming through normally. So this is definitely an eBay problem. The usual suggestion is to "check your seller hub," which is a good idea. But don't rely on your phone, because the eBay app has a bug that inconsistently sends alerts, too. This has been going on for a while now, too, and eBay has done nothing to remedy it. Your desktop seller hub is currently the only reliable place to get notifications, so checking it frequently is the best solution.

Re: Zero Notifications

I can't remember the last time I checked my email for an Ebay sale.

Oh wait, the last time was never.

Forget email, go directly to the source.  Check Ebay at least once a day.

Re: Zero Notifications

Have you checked to see what email address is being used for notifications?

Back in 2017, after what I believe was a server reset/restart or some technical rollback, the email address eBay had on file for me reverted back to the one I used to register with in 2004, but no longer used or had access to.
Check your account to see if your email address (and payment/bank info) is ok and nothing has changed.
