Hi Dear
I wanted to share my experience with eBay's dropshipping policies, particularly how they seem to unfairly impact global sellers. I'm from Pakistan, and after successfully making over $1,000 in sales within my first 30 days, eBay abruptly blocked my account, citing "community safety." Despite following all guidelines and paying hefty fees for promoted listings and transactions (up to $10 per sale), my account was shut down without a clear explanation.
What’s even more frustrating is that all my earnings are now on hold, and eBay's support team has been unresponsive to my emails. Throughout my time on the platform, I maintained a 100% positive feedback rating from buyers and provided complete and proper tracking for all shipments, even after my account was blocked. Additionally, the taxes and duties I paid for international payment transactions through my debit card were a waste of money, and now all my small savings are stuck.
This situation highlights a significant issue: eBay's policies do not seem to support or protect global sellers equally, and in my case, it feels like discrimination against Pakistani sellers. If anyone else has faced similar issues, I'd love to hear your stories and any advice on how to navigate this situation. It's disheartening to invest time and effort into a platform only to be sidelined without proper justification.
Sorry for such a long message, but I am truly broke.

As others have posted your account is permanently suspended. You will never be able to sell here again. I'm sorry. Selling counterfeits is not allowed and is punishable by law. A family member of mine went to jail because they knowingly sold counterfeits & lawsuits can and do happen. I certainly wouldn't want to see that happen to you. It is important to know the laws, because if you neglect them and ignore them, this is the result. As far as Walmart is concerned....if you think eBay is strict....I doubt you'll last there either and I don't believe Walmart has a drop shipping program. If people do drop ship from Walmart, it is still a violation. You cannot list on one site and drop ship from another retailer.
Good luck to you in the future.

There is NO discrimination against Pakistani or any other sellers on eBay. You simply did the wrong thing by drop shipping from other retailers which is against eBay policy and will get you restricted and eventually suspended. Several of your sales look to be counterfeit as well. Stop making it personal, it's business. Here's a link that can be helpful:

Best of luck in the future

"successfully making over $1,000 in sales within my first 30 days"
That's arbitrary, what's successful to you but not be for eBay. The problem with drop shipping and retail arbitrage is the tracking. Were you able to add tracking numbers to the sales or did you email them to buyers?

@gostorepk don't worry, plenty of US sellers have their accounts restricted and or suspended, if that makes u feel any better. u can read these numerous complaints right here on the community boards.
anyone who doesn't follow eBay policy will eventually get caught.
your complaints about fees seem to be unsubstantiated since u continued to sell despite those fees.
hopefully, you can find a different path to make a living. Good Luck!

Has nothing to do with Pakistan, everyone has to follow the same rules.
You can't dropship from other retail sites like Alibaba.
You can't sell counterfeit items.
You don't have anyone to blame but yourself.

Thank you for your message
If I were selling counterfeit items, I always clearly mentioned to the buyer that the product is not original and is unbranded. Additionally, many other sellers, including those from the US, UK and other countries, are purchasing products from AliExpress and using the same dropshipping method.
I understand and respect eBay’s policies. However, it seems inconsistent when others engage in similar practices without facing the same consequences. My intention was never to violate any policies, and I apologize if it appeared that way.
Furthermore, I have always provided tracking information and sent personal messages to all my clients, even after my account was blocked, to ensure they received their items.
Thank you for the link; I will review it to ensure I comply with all guidelines in the future.

Thank you for your message. I understand that success can be subjective and vary for each person.
Regarding your concerns about tracking in dropshipping and retail arbitrage, I'd like to clarify that I have successfully added tracking numbers and the information of courier companies to each sale. I can also share screenshots of customer feedback after they receive their products. So far, not a single order has been missed.

"Furthermore, I have always provided tracking information and sent personal messages to all my clients"
How did you provide the tracking? Was it inserted into the sales transaction or sent in a sperate email?
"here are links to some sellers who are engaging in the same practices"
Cops don't stop all the speeders on the highway at once, they do it one at a time.

Fakes are NOT allowed. It doesn't matter how it's worded or otherwise. You are violating a trademarked copyrighted item. Be careful.
Just because others are violating the same policies that you did, doesn't make it right. They just haven't been caught...yet. Thank you for providing those links although naming and shaming on this forum is not allowed.
Wishing you good luck in the future.

I provide tracking information, including the tracking number and courier company, for every buyer's purchase order. Can be seen in attached screenshot. Tell me where did I made any mistake?

You failed to read and understand Ebay's dropshipping policy,
You chose brands which protect their authorized distribution channels and from counterfeits and were likely to report you for violating their trademarks.
You were as likely to be banned if you were in DesMoines or Karachi.

Well, as long as you said they were counterfeit shouldn't be a problem.
Might not be a problem in Pakistan, Sri Lanka and China, but it is everywhere else.

I've never seen legitimate Bose earbuds available for $19.99 so your items are likely counterfeit. Regardless if others are selling the same thing, it is illegal to use a companies brand name unless that item is made by that company. It is also not allowed on eBay to drop ship from another website such as Aliexpress.
I agree that eBay's enforcement is not consistent but that doesn't make it right for you to break the rules as well. I doubt that their enforcement has anything to do with where a seller is from.

Drop shipping is only allowed from wholesalers, not other retailers or online marketplaces.
Ebay's policy:
Drop shipping, where you fulfill orders directly from a wholesale supplier, is allowed on eBay. Remember that if you use drop shipping, you’re still responsible for the safe delivery of the item within the time frame stated in your listing and for the buyer’s overall satisfaction with their purchase.
However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay.
Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn’t, eBay may take action consistent with applicable laws and the eBay User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.
