Also why does this buyer's feedback profile only show feedback sellers left him, but have nothing to show for what he left sellers? He has bought a lot. Can they hide what they have left but show what sellers left them?
Why leave an immediate negative without even contacting me? Why would he keep an item with a "faulty" zipper, wouldn't he rather return it? I test all zippers carefully before listing, and this item looked like it had been worn only a couple times. Arc'teryx doesn't use cheap zippers. Buyer lied about a faulty zipper. Why? Also dinged me on shipping badly! When I've lowered shipping to flat low amounts. I went down 9/10's a % from the neg. With 400 sales one neg takes you from 100% to 99.1% Shipping down from 4.9 to 4.8 after staying at 4.9 for 2 years, and I recently changed to lower flat rates.
I think buyer was acting vindictively. Lives in D.C. that says a lot. 😁

It's hard to understand buyers feedback at times.
Since they did not contact you first, I have to lean towards that they like it and want to keep, but maybe just trying to get a partial refund. I see that brand can be very expensive.
Did you check your buyers' profile before shipping? Location and all feedback history. Especially what they leave for sellers. I always do this just to make sure my buyer doesn't have a history of constant neutrals and negatives for sellers.
I would just let it ride and respond to their negative as politely as you can as stated in earlier in another post so others can see.

Maybe the buyer saw your "no return" policy and wasn't aware that they could open a NAD claim against you.
ETA: The feedback you left for the buyer is totally against the rules.

@maubrn wrote:I used to sell when sellers could leave a negative. I suspect he has so many positive seller fb's because most sellers (I think) leave positive immediately. When buyers and sellers could both leave negative fb, it was a better more civilized world on eBay.
This is so NOT true. And the feedback you left for the buyer is an example of why ebay changed the rules. Too many sellers left retaliatory negs for buyers when buyers had (or may have had) legitimate gripes.
The anger you're feeling is not commensurate with the feedback you received! Take a deep breath and let it go. It's just feedback!

It is not. It is available on both. It may present differently on the Mobil App, but it is there.
Can someone using the Mobil App post a screenshot Please!!

Responses to feedback are subject to the same rules as the actual feedback left by the buyer. So it is possible Ebay saw something in the response that violated policy.

I hope that buyer reports the feedback you left them and gets it removed and you get a violation on your account.

Most sellers don't have the time to check every buyer's feedback pages before they ship an item. I know some sellers do have the time and this is part of their routine, but most don't.
The OP did respond to the buyer's feedback they left. It has been removed.
