Why is there an E-Cigarettes and Vapes Category

Why is there an E-Cigarettes and Vapes Category if these items are banned?  

I had a few coils that I wanted to sell that I no longer needed.   I saw a lot of other sellers as well as a specific category for such items and listed them only to be chastised by Ebay and locked for 30 days.  

I think that Ebay should take the category down if these items are banned!

yes and most of those kids that got sick or died were vaping with black market devices, straight from China, because they couldnt buy legal vapes in the stores. They were overloaded with that tcp or whatever that ingredient is that is in pot...causes severe lung damage.Strangely enough, the vapes were also overloaded with vitamin E, which also causes lung infections in large quantities.

Personally, I would never ride a motorcycle on the road. I've seen too many times how easily a person(s) riding a two wheeler that's involved in a simple accident causes severe injury and/or death. But I don't advocate outlawing them. To each their own. How about we outlaw cell phones so that kids/adults can't text while driving? variety-nook 

Back in the early 70's my cousin Karen age 19   had just got married . Her and her new husband were up on the freeway on a motorcycle on their way home . They were struck by a man who had lost his brakes  , they were both thrown off the bike and killed . I don't know if they were wearing helmets  since I don't know if there were any mandatory helmet laws here in CA . back then ,, not sure it would have mattered .  Tulips

And the Feds just busted a guy here in Chicago, who had ten thousand of these black market devices in his garage and was selling them to kids.

USA also stands for freedom. I don't care if somebody wants to smoke a cigarette or cigar. Why would you? That's their choice.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want them blowing the smoke in my face, but otherwise, so what if that's what they enjoy.

Your'e in PA. How about all of the people who would like your State to stop coal mining, oil drilling and fracking for oil and natural gas? Hmmm, That should be outlawed!???.... You think???

Well that's just stupid! Wouldn't you agree? With winter looming, where else are you going to get your home heating fuel (and cooking). Cut down all of the beautiful forests in PA and burn wood I guess. 

Too many people live in PA. the forests would be gone faster than you could grow them back.

My cousin and his new wife were in a bad accident after leaving their wedding. They both survived, but she was busted up and scared badly on the face. They stayed together for years after until she passed. He never left her. Said he never even thought about that. THAT'S LOVE!!!!!

I love to take the opposite tack once in a while.lots of studies on smoking.I like the one about smokers saving us money by dying sooner.seems like it costs a lot of money keeping the seniors going,seriously there was a study done on this and I tend to agree with it,if you die from smoking at 65 you are definitely saving someone money for healthcare,taking care of grandma till shes 90 can cost more than a dead smoker at 65.my mother in Law lived till 100 and she was the greatest,she lived with us for the last few years

Most likely because ebay toyed with the idea of having it as a "gated" category but then abandoned that as a bad idea (for legal reasons most likely) but like most stuff here they didn't bother to actually finish the job and remove the category.

Vaping  morphed  from e-cigarettes originally intend to help folks quit smoking at a hefty price.    When the e-cigs fade died down, someone created the "bong" effect aka  vaping and the young  folks used vaping to hide the "cannabis" or "mj"  smell and for kick  they would see who could make their head disappear the longest or similar contest.  Nicotine still remained in those buzz up head clouds.
