Noticed this morning when I go to my sold listings, they just say SHIP NOW. Instead of how it use to always say what date they needed to be shipped by.
I always liked being able to clearly see when I needed to ship. Eliminated the guess work. I have a busy life so can't go to the post office more than once or twice a week.

Ebay doesn't want you to use your handling time. They just want you to (in their words) SHIP NOW!

I'll bet when they start doing their fulfillment, they won't even come close to SHIPPING NOW.

Nope.
And maybe they removed it because too many sellers were shipping within their handling time. How can they get any extra fees that way?

I'm encountering the same issue and this is frustrating as I use that to keep myself on track. But what's odd, is I have and order in between others that does have a ship by date. BUT what's irritating, I have two custom orders that have a special handling time and this is really throwing me off as this is not the only venue I sell on.

ebay wants you to ship on time, but they have no problem with you getting a defect from time to time that will push you into higher fees. after all ... it's all free $$$ for them bigtime

i imagine things would be corrected quickly though ... if seller's could penalize ebay monetarily Every Time they make a mistake.

This is an annoying change to say the least. It is an enhancement that sets sellers back. It doesn't help us to run more efficiently. But it sure creates a little extra work for us on each shipment.
It is my hope that Ebay will reconsider this change and give us back the old format. We are far more efficient and better off being able to see our ship by dates. I do respect that Ebay wants us shipping as fast as possible. But your seller's want this too. We don't need Ebay making a change like this to inspire us to do better. Anyone that sells on a regular basis knows that getting shipments out quickly is a smart business process.

I heard that's a first step in a process for ebay to eventually label the status as "HEY LAZY BUTT! GET YOUR FINGER OUTTA YOUR NOSE AND SHIP THIS OUT ALREADY!!!
It'll probably come by the Fall Seller Update.

It's a glitch. Ebay is full of them. Same reason we go days without sales.

It does not appear to be a glitch. It appears to be an update. There is an updated downloadable report too.

My orders say "ready to ship" and as pointed out yesterday by @bigdeals.etc - these orders do not show in the filter "Awaiting shipment - ship within 24 hours". Personally, I hate this change. Show me an exact date - it's so much easier to keep track!!
Edit: Today I can see that EVERY order shows "ready to ship", even the ones that have a handling time longer than 1 day. Frustrating, to say the least.

I assume you have the new Manage Orders page like I do (not sure everyone has the new version yet). I sent comments to eBay on this page and asked a CS if they could request that we be allowed to customize that screen since that ability is gone now. It would be nice to have that as an additional column and there's plenty of room for it. At the very least, that date should be available on the Order Details page but in typical eBay unhelpful fashion it only says "Make sure you ship your order within the handling time you specified in the listing." That information is available to them so why don't they just show it to us!

This is one of the times I agree with @mam98031
Why would eBay not show this much needed information?
Is this another software issue/glitch or was this a planned system update?
