I have had this listed for a long time & it won't sell at any price & should for more than the current $8.00 price.
I have raised & lowered the price many times to try to get it to sell. It's Summer & A Straw Hat should sell easily.

I could use one to keep the sun off my tender ears, but over $25 for a used straw hat from China with no measurements other than the brim !!!
No thanks.

@ourancestorsattic Shipping is more then the item price ... raise the hat price or stop trying to sell it ... only so many women will purchase that kind of a hat ... I can tell you that in our area that style is not worn ... just sayin.
Now, lets say someone buys it for a total of about $ 22 with shipping ... then they file an INAD claim and return it forcing you to pay the return shipping ( $ 14) ... then you have to refund them 100% of the $ 22 plus you paid the $ 14 for return shipping ... well, now you are looking at a $ 14 dollar loss ...

It is $8.00 for the hat in Mint- Near Mint Condition & UPS Shipping is $11.88. Priority Mail was alot more so I did not offer it. Anyone like you who hides their feedback cannot be trusted.

$11.88 shipping is to you. More miles, more for buyer to pay for shipping.
What I buy is none of your business, and has nothing to do with your situation 🙂

$21.68 for a used hat.....LOL
Why ship a hat by UPS??
It's pretty evident why this isn't selling

Actually what you buy or and sell is everyone's business because it lets other Members know if you can be trusted to do business with & it is obvious you can't be trusted. I am done answering you.

Might be better off trying to sell it locally.

"Look Closely At The Images. It Is The Best Way To Determine The Item's Size And Condition."
I think that's pretty much it right there...

Biggest hurdle may be the shipping cost. For me for instance, it's a little shy of $20. If you can't get it under a pound, maybe just mark it as free shipping and set the price at $25 or $30 and see what happens.
But as I mentioned earlier, you might be better off trying to sell it locally. Facebook or Craigslist for instance.

Shows almost $20 shipping to my location. I can find a similar hat new for that price, or even less.

It's not the hat itself. Or the pricing. Or the shipping. I would point to the unenforceable and restrictive terms of sale in your description. They are not buyer-friendly and, in some cases, are against eBay policy.
1) Since Best Offer voids the Immediate Payment Required setting, you cannot then limit the buyer's 4 day period eBay grants for payment to be made, and then insist on immediate payment instead.
2) Sellers cannot limit the payment method a buyer uses to only PayPal.
3) eBay holds the seller solely responsible for the item to reach the buyer in a timely and undamaged condition. The seller has the obligation, not the carrier, in eBay's universe.
4) Buyers cannot be compelled to provide proof of damage by sending photos, let alone digital photos.

Listing shows almost $20 shipping to us also. And you must know by now there really is no such thing as no returns.
Best of luck !
