I have had this listed for a long time & it won't sell at any price & should for more than the current $8.00 price.
I have raised & lowered the price many times to try to get it to sell. It's Summer & A Straw Hat should sell easily.

I read the entire listing. It's nearly $15 shipping to me, which would make the hat $23 in total. I was just in T.J. Maxx the other day and they had brand new hats very similar to that for $10.

OT, but you should know that there's no ebay rule against a seller asking for feedback. And to neg a seller for that is so wrong, especially for another seller to do it to his competition.

I wouldn't buy that hat. I can buy them at the 99 for less than $5 new. Or go to any secondhand store, garage sale, or gramma's house. A heck of a lot less than the almost $20 you're charging for shipping and used hat.
Ever heard of a POSTING ID? Sellers CAN NOT block their feedback.
Personally, I won't ever buy from you, given your attitude. You're linking your item(s) hoping for sales from boardies. We don't bite that way.

What’s the inside dimension?

Maybe if you put the Brand Name (Ahead) in your Title it may help.
Look here at these two links for what other hats of this brand have recently sold for or are listed for.

So you do understand if you don’t take returns it doesn’t mean the buyer doesn’t have buyer protections.
buyer says it arrived damaged or listing was not correct and you say too bad, no returns. Ebay let’s them keep the hat and makes you give them their money back.
How much does the hat alone weight?

@ourancestorsattic Actually, I read your listing, the reason I gave you the INAD return scenario is because eBay provides that work around for returns when Sellers use that "No returns accepted" setting ... it forces the Seller to pay the return shipping ... if you did not know that before then you know it now. I only gave that example because I would not want you or anyone else to lose money on a transaction like that. Sellers have a false sense of security when they use the No returns accepted setting when in fact a return can be forced on them ...
I also read very clearly that you have varied the price ... the net net at this point is maybe that's just not something that sells well ... ALL Sellers run in to that situation at times.
Regards,
Mr. L

@yuzuha I'm seeing $ 13.43 to my location ...

A) I can buy a used straw hat from any swap meet for a dollar.
B) I am in Hawaii. It calculates UPS shipping at $48. You can count out any buyers from Alaska or Hawaii.
C) I looked at the images. I still can't determine the size.
D) What is a reasonable offer? Reasonable according to who?
E) In the event of a claim, buyers are not required to provide sellers with digital images.
F) You can say you don't accept returns, but that doesn't mean you wont issue a refund.
G) "PayPal payments only." That's not true.
H) UPS is not responsible for package condition and shipping time. The seller is.

As others mentioned it's not the cost of the hat as much as it is the cost of the shipping. This is becoming the case with a lot of items that can simply be bought cheaper locally at B&M stores where the buyer can try it on, get it instantly and not have to worry about shipping damage. The item can also generally be returned easily.

I did the research for you. One of the main reasons why it won't sell so easily is there are over 4,200 women's straw hats to choose from. Secondly, even though they are not identical, the ones that looked closest to yours, there was 128 cheaper than yours to choose from.

You cannot think that way many sellers fall into that same trap. The total for me to buy it is $20 not $8. Buyers shop by price so your shipping is ALWAYS factored in when making a purchase.

It's a USED hat.
Between hair grease and sweat, an uncleanable item, and a shipping cost higher than the selling price, I wouldn't touch it either.
And that third picture of the inside looks like mould is growing inside.
Suggestions.
Offer Free Shipping and price it at $25.
Sell it at a garage sale
Donate it for the tax credit.
You are allowed to have a No Returns policy, but you cannot have a No Refunds policy.
