As a parent and grandparent, I have a real problem with this. Listing children’s toys and porn magazines in the same store is unacceptable. Did a search for a particular Barbie doll. Found one. Considered purchasing it. Looked to see what else the seller had for possible savings on multiple items shipping. I was disappointed to find among more Barbie dolls there were human porn magazines with extremely graphic covers. If ebay is allowing and promoting this mix of children’s toys and porn, I can’t sell here any more.

Adult items are required to be put in a special category to avoid anyone under the age of 18 seeing them easily. But sadly, there are sellers who are unaware of the rules. To report him, go to the listing and find the Report This Item link which will take you to the reporting form. (Below is the link to the policy fyi.)
If you prefer not to access the adult-themed listing yourself, to report it, then follow the prompts in this page to report a seller:

You would think they would have two different ID's for such diverse products. Just avoid them as a seller and find the doll somewhere else. Takes all kinds.

I think the problem the OP has is if a child or adolescent were to do the same search and find that seller. There are local, state and Federal laws against making such materials readily available to minors and something ebay should be more active in preventing such a mixture of items from happening. Just saying it isn't allowed (against policy) doesn't work in the neighborhood stores.

If the seller is listing the "porn" in the correct category (Everything Else -> Adult) viewers would have to confirm they are 18 or over AND provide a valid credit card in their name to get access to anything other than the title of the listing (no Gallery pic viewable).
So either this seller is listing in the wrong category, you have already at some point in the past confirmed you are over 18 or possibly your idea of porn differs from eBay's definition.
The confirmation of being 18 only needs to be done once, from then on it's "sticky" for that user id.

I once had an "art" nude photo to sell, not anything close to porn unless your name is Mike Pence, and it was listed in my store where I also had some Barbie dolls listed but the nude picture was not displayed in the store. The listing was initially taken down by Ebay for not being in the adult category. I did relist it in the adult only section. As another noted, that section does not show without the potential buyer confirming age. If the item is not listed in the correct adult category then by all means report the item to Ebay. If it is showing on your computer then you, or someone else in your house, has already confirmed age. But again, many items are forced to be listed in the adult section that are not porn.

The OP can easily avoid that particular seller. However what about the children or the underage kids looking for toys and instead gets exposed to graphic pornography ? I believe all thinking adults would be concerned about that aspect of it. Tulips

It also takes a village to raise a child in the correct way. Tulips

Mixing graphic sex with childrens toys is something a child molestor would do . I'm not saying that seller is guilty of that ,, but what they're doing isn't right either . I would report it to e bay . It's creepy . Tulips

If the 'porn' is listed in the correct adult category, no child cruising Ebay for toys would see it.If its not listed in the correct category, report it.

They are aware of the rules. LIstings in the adult catagory are banned by many international locations so in order for those folks to see them porn needs to be lislted on the main site. Titles for items in the adult catagory are hidden and user must agree to terms of service to see the content. Do a search for frontal nudity and the listings are mainly from China and Japan and are allowed on the main site. Reporting them does little good. I suspect that the seller does better with the porn than the Barbies.

If you want to view/purchase items from eBay's Adult Only category, you must have a credit card on file, or provide another requested form of verification before you can even access this area. You must be 18 yrs old & have a valid credit card.

I wasn't concerned about an actual purchase of the porn by a child . The OP said the photo covers were graphic . That is something a child should not be exposed to even while browsing . Tulips

I expect that the seller that the op is so upset about did not list those 'graphic' photo covers in the correct adults only category, thats why she could see them without verification first.

IMO graphic porn should not even be forced on unsuspecting adults . That stuff needs to be in a category that an adult chooses to go to ,, not surprised by . At least in a polite society . Tulips
