I have been selling right along since January and now this week... absolutely no sales and very low views. Maybe they are giving up buying for LENT! Or is something wrong with EBAY"s System??? Any thoughts or maybe it is just me and my items..

There should be a separate board just for slow/no sales posts.

Something must be wrong with the system.
It seems like ebay is preventing people from buying from you.

Well, one month is not like another month, particularly when one sells in super-saturated categories. Ask yourself what I ask myself (I also sell in a super-saturated category) - how many listings were dumped onto this site recently in those categories? That fluctuates, too.
Just keep plugging along.

Everywhere online is dismal for me right now. I had 2 sales on the weekend - total of $20. Nothing since then. Those 2 were on Marketplace. I'm supposed to have 1 tomorrow. I do not take their word for it. It's a sale when I'm paid. Slowly building up my eBay listings & getting nowhere. Just watchers.

Any given week you can come to the Seller Forum and find a couple active threads on this subject. With the sheer volume of sellers on the site and close to 2 Billion active listings, our competition is strong.
I'm not trying to dismiss what you are experiencing or anyone else. It happens to all of us, you are not alone. Take this time to see how you might be able to improve your listings so you can get seen better.
Your sold items show you do OK, but I'm confident you want more, most of us do. That is normal and is the only way we can grow.
Not everything is Ebay's fault. You've been selling long enough to know slow sales happen. It doesn't mean the site is in trouble.

Probably shopping the other 46,000,000 listings and those estate sales offerings, flea markets and thrift stores, etc.
Hint: Don't go fishing where all the fisher people go.
Don't think the, GenX, Millennials and Gen Z are into "old stuff" - as judged by our clan - the don't want to haul away the boomer stuff these '44 & '45 have in the attic. And they keep telling we are "old fashion - but they like to come over and eat a "home cooked meal" every now and then and try to beat me in a game of washers**.

This is the new eBay way. Doesn't matter what you do eBay will throttle your sales no matter who you are. I've been doing this over 21 years and the last two have been the WORST EVER! You would think that they are deliberately trying to sabotage sellers with their updates, resets and terrible customer service. I am amazed that they are still around. I have a NEW ONE today, NO PAYOUT and they eBay system says that eBay is closed right now and won't open until 5:00 PT. WHAT?!?!?!?!

Maybe your ups and downs are in a a vary saturated market - one example, there are only 9,500,000+ to choice from. If you want to catch fish NEVER go where all the fisher me/women are. And if /when your catching a boat load those other ones will crowd you out - if your on the bank or in a boat - been fisherman since 1952 when my Dad first took me a salesman since 1968 - some things in life are just similar - in my book..

Why? What purpose does that serve? Ebay makes money when we sell stuff. So why would throttling anyone be a good business move??
I've been here a bit longer, over the years I have had some seriously bad periods of time for sales and other times pretty great. I have found it a pretty mixed bag over the years.
Your sold items show you have a pretty steady stream of sales, but I do understand and respect if that stream isn't what you are normally use to it can be a real problem.
"I have a NEW ONE today, NO PAYOUT and they eBay system says that eBay is closed right now and won't open until 5:00 PT. WHAT?!?!?!?!" A bit of an over reaction and misrepresentation here. The Ebay site is open 24/7/365m but I suspect your comment is about Customer Service. And YES certain types of Customer service are NOT open 24/7, especially when you want to a call back. OMG they are just telling you that staff is not available except during a certain timeframe. Why you take exception to that is interesting.
That is NOT your only way to get to Customer Service. It may be your preferred way, but not your only way.
------------------------------------------------------------
On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

Apparently you know everything, cause if I (or anyone else) posts something wrong with eBay, you stick up for them. I guess you work for them? I can tell you are completely wrong but I know you will come back with some other garbage saying everything is my fault and I have no idea what I'm doing. I would really appreciate it if you just don't respond to any of my posts because it helps no one.

Or they're just correct and you're stubbornly refusing to accept the truth...

NOPE, nor did I claim that. You are welcome to disagree with me anytime you see the need, but you aren't allowed to make things up in an effort to make you feel better or whatever compels you to make such statements.
Not sure why you are against a civil conversation. If you only want to hear from people that agree with you, how will you ever learn anything new?

Yes, ebay throttles listings.
That way ebay loses money.
The sellers lose money.
The buyer can't find and buy anything.
Makes perfect sense.
