Last few weeks, all my main photos seem to have dropped all the padding ebay puts around them to square them out. So, now, the tops, bottoms, and sides of my photos are all cropped off because I didn’t have a perfectly square photo. I asked about that and was told that we have to use perfectly square photos now, which would mean going back and reshooting all my main listing photos, which of course I did not do because I don’t have time and it seems ebay loves changing things willy nilly and I tired of chasing them long ago. Today, all of a sudden, on some of my main photos, there are dark gray bars filling in around the photos to make them square, but not all of them. I’m not even sure what specific question to ask, because it just keeps changing. All I want to know is this: Do I or do I not have to upload perfectly square photos? And are you ebay finished dinking around with your photo program so we can get some consistency, for at least a little while? Thank you.

All the gallery photos I checked for your listings look fine on my PC - I generally don't notice a difference between my view on PC and view on my cell phone.
IMHO, I don't bother with those 'directives' from eBay - whatever aspect ratio I use is what they get, and I haven't seen a difference in presentation.
Incidentally - I use Firefox on Win10, or Edge on another account. Also an android.

I know nothing of needing to use square photos. I looked at your listings and they all looked fine to me. The only thing I noticed was the very top of one hat had been cropped off slightly. I never look or list with a phone.

Screenshot attached of chopped off photos. The left and middle photos are both cut off top and bottom from when I originally uploaded them before they removed from padding around the photos. I would never chop off their heads and feet for a main photo when the shoes might be included or hat or the doll, and so on. I’m pretty careful about how I shoot and crop and can’t stand how they’ve gotten all chopped. But, Now it seems they’re adding padding back but only on some? Weird.

Ah! I’m on all apple products; I bet that’s it. Another icky ipad/iPhone change. I wish they would just leave it alone! LOL! Gawd. I should be used to this by now as an ipad user. Brother.
