Was NOT notified by Ebay that I sold and item, found out through a Paypal Email.

I sold a item this morning, and did not received notification through Ebay. I just was alerted about the sale through with an email from Paypal. When I go to the item on Ebay, it reads "out of stock."  I'm a little concerned considering I have not changed any of my notifications and I'm not being prompted by Ebay to print a shipping, nor are they even allowing me to print a shipping label for this item yet. Anyone have any suggestions. TIA

Same here...a notice from PayPal for money deposited from a buyer, and the item is out of stock, but no way to ship because the order isn’t listed on EBay, and no notifications from Ebay.

Same thing has happened to me.  Sold an item a few hours ago.  Got the email from Paypal. Nothing shows up on Ebay but the Money is in the Paypal account with buyers addy etc etc..

There are sevice outtages noted on the Status page .......in RED.......Buy it Now and  Checkout....since 6 a.m. Pacific time........

Happened here, too.  When I called e-bay, they told me to refund the payment through paypal, and have the seller reorder.  I don't really like this solution, because it makes life difficult for the seller, puts me at risk of losing the order, puts me at risk for bad feedback, and I think costs me a paypal transaction fee of 30 cents.  However, after discussing with ebay rep, I gave in. I wish I had looked at this posting first.  If you ship through paypal, will ebay recognize it as a valid shipment, and do you get the same discount as if you ship through ebay?

I could ship through Paypal but Ebay also shows the listing is still up for sale. So I'll hold off for a bit.

Same here, notified by Paypal at 1:08 PM, still nothing from Ebay.  

This was a buy-it-now on an item of which I have 2.  Quantity still shows as 2 available for sale.

I just received a duplicate payment from the original buyer. I'm unsure of how this is even possible considering the item was already once and I only had one. I contacted Paypal to see if they could contact the buyer to advise them of the Ebay bug.

The cost is the same as Ebay. The tracking will just be copied and pasted from Paypal after they fix this mess. As long as the the item is shipped in the proper time frame it will not be held against you. That's what I was told this morning.

I would hold off shipping for a little bit to make sure the payment doesn't get refunded.

This is also being reported on another thread.  Seems to be yet another Technical Issue that will result in major problems for Sellers, Buyers, and eBay.  I would call eBay to report this and make sure they open a ticket.

I wouldn't ship until the order shows up on Ebay.

A couple months ago, payments were showing up in Pay Pal and nothing on Ebay, then an hour or so later the payments were refunded.

There are currently Service Outages on the eBay System Status Page for both "Buy It Now" and "Checkout", so I don't know why the Customer Support Rep. would tell you to refund through PayPal and have the buyer reorder.  If there's a service outage how is that going to work?
