WE NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS AVAILABLE OVER THE PHONE ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has gone on long enough. Ebay can't use the virus as an excuse to no longer service their customers without help over the phone! The website is limited and can't resolve certain issues that you may be having without human intervention! Customer services reps can easily work from home!!!! I bet they are looking at home much money they are saving/making by not having to pay someone to answer the phone and will carry this as long as they can! Right now I feel as ebay customer service for sellers is equivalent to Craigslist!

Well, no...
Have us call you works like this, they will say "20 minute wait time" but you better call first thing in the morning and be prepared to stay by the phone all day, then... If they do call sometimes they hang up because they're so backed up that they call back so many customers and simply hang up so they can get caught up again, crossed another off the list, and another, and another... Ten or twenty hang ups later they're back on track, hopefully you're next and not one of the ones that just got hung up on.
So your chances of actually getting to talk to someone are a bit like winning the lottery.
That's only the first hurdle, next comes trying to find a CS rep who actually knows how to do something helpful, many are undertrained, misinformed, can't hardly speak english, it's bad...
As for facebook and twitter, well...
Those helpful people will likely refer you to ebay's "Help & Support" section on the web site.
That being said there are plenty of people, I see them here...
Who call for things they truly should know how to take care of themselves.
That is definitely not helping either, granted if they can't find how to do it because the "Help & Support" section is basically useless I can't say I blame them entirely, certainly it's not their fault ebay can't seem to support its customers.
This however has been a long time coming.
CS reps not knowing what they are doing is nothing new.

They do have customer service reps working from home. I have had them call me back a couple of times and they actually DID call me back. Both times they solved my problem.

Here is eBay's customer service model.
Outsource to Philippines/Russia/Spain
Have agents service from home with crying babies, dogs barking, radios in background
Hire agents who dont know their employers own policies
Eliminate " easy " access to phone service
Guide eBay members through a trick maze of promps and articles , then when the members actually get there, have a notation that states " For help, Contact us between 5am and 10pm PT"
Then when the member clicks on that area, it then says " This channel is unavailable" even though its 4pm PT.
If I was CEO, I would be embarrassed that my leadership was equal to that of a slumlord of property rentals.
Its so weird, the fact that they actually steer sellers who give fees to eBay - away . Its like they dont want all those seller fees. They rather people get frustrated and quit selling. So weird and strange.
Why force sellers into seller hub when you have two formats available. Whats the incentive for eBay to FORCE a seller to use a tool that they dont want or like to use? Common sense tells me that if there are two formats to use , then allow sellers to pick whats right for their needs. Once again, I wonder how many sellers left because they hated Seller Hub and as a consequence eBay once again loses all those seller fees. Why? Because eBay thinks its better for a customer vs the actual customer ? This is whats currently happening in politics and society. Its a cancer. I almost think some people get aroused by dictating and mandating what other are to do.

I AGREE COMPLETELY!!!! RIGHT NOW I AM DEALING WITH A SELLER THAT SAYS THE REFUND PROCEDURE AT EBAY ISN'T WORKING !!? REALLY? ... UH HUH. SO HE WANTS MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT NUMBER ... DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A SCAM OR WHAT. YET THEIR IS NO ONE TO SPEAK WITH EBAY BECAUSE GUESS WHAT THEY DO NOT CARE!!! I SUGGEST THAT WE BOYCOTT EBAY. OK SO HERE IS MY PROBLEM ... I BOUGHT AN ITEM FROM A SELLER. ONCE RECEIVED THE ITEM WAS NOTHING LIKE WHAT WAS DISCRIBED. IT WAS A HIDEOUS CHEAP RENDITION. I IMMEDIATELY FILED FOR A RETURN AND PAY FOR THE SHIPPING. SO I PROCEEDED WITH THE EBAY RETURN PROCEDURE AND THEN I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM THE SELLER SAYING HE WILL ONLY REFUND ME 30% OF MY MONEY! WHAT? NOWHERE ON HIS AD WAS THIS DISCLOSED. NOT ACCEPTABLE. SO I CANCELED THE RETURN BECAUSE I DID WANT TOPAY FOR THE SHIPPING, INSULT AFTER INJURY IF YOU WILL. I THEN WROTE BACK AND LET HIM KNOW HE NEEDS TO NOT ONLY REFUND ME 100% BUT I ALSO THAT HE PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING! UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES THIS IS APPROPRIATE. HE IS NOW TRYING TO SCAM ME FOR MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT SAYING THE "EBAY REFUND PROCEDURE IS NOT FUNCTIONING. REALLY? I HAVE CONTACTED EBAY BUT THE CASE IS CLOSED BECAUSE I HAD CLOSED THE RETURN FOR THE REASONS GIVEN IE: I WAS NEGOTIATING WITH SELLER OVER THIS RETURN TRYING TO GET ALL MY MONEY BACK. how do talk to someone , i have not been able to speak to anyone for 8 months. i need to stop ebay from taking the shipping fees from my checking account every day and i don't know how to change the managed fees process.

File a dispute/ charge back with the credit card issuer on file with Paypal or the Credit card co itself. It will take a month or so, but most likely you will get your money back.

Unacceptable. Should they use this lame excuse again I am closing my account with ebay, they will not receive my business for this derelict scheme of erasing their customer service because they feel a virus with a 99.96% survival rate grants them immunity from accountability. It has gone too far.
