Visibility of listings views and sales in US dropped dramatically October 2021

After recent update, my account seems to be bricked. New listings have no views (usually I get 5-10 views in the first hour after listing; now it has been a day and some have 0 and others 1); old listings don’t get any more or less watcher. I have old listing in the message displayed “item sold, please ship it as soon as possible). I didn’t get any sales since October 11.  All my items are promoted . Anyone with the same issues? I am just wondering if it is just me or others as well. I called Ebay multiple times but they are clueless as everything looks good to them.

My views are up 27%.

I've added maybe 2 or 3 new listings this year and my sales are about normal for this time of year, for me.

When my sales drop, I don't blame Ebay, I blame myself for listings items that people are not interested in.

Plus, you have to remember that people are still loosing their jobs.

People that have jobs, don't know how long they will have them.

People are not out spending money like they used to do.

Looks like you've had 23 sales this month, so I wouldn't call that being down to 0.

Ebay can and will manipulate visibility however they find suitable, 

it might be unfair, but it is legal, you can buy their stock and get a stake (Elliot management for example, they did good) and get the the power to change things from within, until then, it is what it is.

It is no longer fair/unfair matter when Ebay manipulate your "seller metrics" so you will fall and get charged the extra 50% FVF penalty fee, that's when it turns into an issue that might be of an interest to the AG/FTC.

My items are hot . I don’t blame myself because I have done everythkng that I could i am top rated. Accept returns. Ship within a day. Sell items in demand. Drop in sales is not the same as account frozen and not responding. Apparently you don’t understand or maybe you are ebay employee. But my question is who elese has the same issues as I do (account frozen; abnormal 0 sales, 0 views after October 15). It seems you are not in that group so maybe hold your suggestions for others.

My metrics are great. That is what I am talking about there is no reason they would freeze my account due to performance. I am only thinking about the update they did on 10.15. My post was to find out if others have the same issue after October 15.

Supposedly it had to do with the rearranging of the Collectibles and other categories, at least that's what it said in their ebay news alert (the agent I spoke to didn't even know about the changes being made).

You may want to check your items and see if they are in the right categories now. After they were done with the changes I had hundreds of products in the wrong categories, like 8" nativities in the ornaments section.

I list my majority of items on dot ca with a few stragglers on dot com. This is, as of today what I am seeing for traffic since these changes took place.

2 Points to make. I was under the impression that dot ca and dot com were directly connected and in the past my listings were found, majority from within eBay. This appears to be no longer the case. Especially for sellers selling OOAK type items. My sales bare this out. Routinely in the past 30 to 40 sales per month. This month 3 since the categories/IS's have been confuddled. So totally missing how this is a better way.

PS. As a side point as items are transitioned from one correct category those items are showing up with IS's being entirely purged of the original information. These listing were correct and accurate when originally created. Now...Not so much. Many sellers are now in the same situation with corrupted listings run amok.

They might be hot, if you owned a Mercedes, which not everyone does.

Your listings are limited to people looking for used Mercedes parts, which isn't a very wide range of people.

I checked they are in the right category. My whole account is affected but my main worry is 0 sales. My whole account is frozen SINCE 10.15 FOR THOSE THAT DON’T READ THE WHOLE THREAD.  Views are 0. Watchers are frozen. 0 sales. MY METRICS ARE GREAT. I AM TOP RATED . I ACCEPT ALL RETURNS AND i pay for them. Items listed are in demand. My weekly sales from around $2K dropped to 0 AFTER EBAY UPDATE OR SINCE 10.11. EBAY STOCK SHOWS THERE IS A LOT OF BUYING ACTIVITY SO IT IS NOT BECAUSE THERE IS NO BUYERS. AND IT IS NOT BECAUSE O DO NOTHING. I LIST REGULARLY..
