I am confused how Ebay has been killing auctions and taking listing fees all in the name of stopping "offensive" Hurricane Milton memorabilia while they are allowing the sale of t shirts, key chains, and other items.
Many survivors of the storm have been trying to sell these historical roof pieces after losing everything. Can someone please explain this?

Probably relying too much on AI for their decisions. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm certainly not offended by artifacts from Milton being sold anywhere. And I lived through it... My neighborhood was spared heavy damage for the most part, so many friends and relatives from the gulf beaches have taken refuge here, while FEMA help is marginal, and city governments drag their feet issuing building permits and such. A lot of people hurting, like yourself. Ebay is as ebay does.🙄

Glad things were better for you tin soldier. The frustrations have been ongoing with back to back hurricanes...get ready for the price hikes on car and home insurance!

@mojo467 I know this doesn't really help in your current difficult situation, but eBay can be infuriatingly inconsistent, with really little to no recourse. I've had four take-downs, one of which was my mistake and I owned it, the other three for incomprehensible reasons. So asking 'why' becomes futile. Even if they say "go ahead and list again anyway" with some sort of redaction in the title or description, I wouldn't trust it because of the unreliability of CS on here, nor its documentation.
Maybe you an use an alternative resource to sell your items - good luck in going forward in any case!

As I see it all you will get on this site is sympathy. You need to talk to eBay the judge and jury on this specific decision. Try your best to discuss some one of authority but be professional about it and discuss your specfic situation i.e. one sale was AOK and the other one bounced. Seems unique to me.
Just for the record in you initial post you said this " ......... Ebay has been killing auctions and taking listing fees".
eBay didn't take any listing fees you have a monthly allocation of 250 free listings unless you selected optional features that I can't see in your sold & an unsold listings. Right now you have 4 active listings some with bids and only 1 item sold in the last 90 days.
A traffic cop, or state trooper or sheriffs deputy can only pull over 1 speeder out of a flock of other speeders at a time - tag your it.
