Hello, can someone tell me what "Transaction Defect Rate" is? My dash shows a number "3" and I have no idea what this indicates? I have been on this site for 20 years, I have NO negative feed backs in the last year and no returns?

You could check out this exciting page dedicated to your topic. 😉 It's recommended you are ready for bed prior to reading it 😉

There are basically two ways to get a defect:
---unresolved by seller case
---out of stock cancellation
Ebay allows very few of these before demoting or banning you as a seller.

100% agree you should read up on above link, Feedback isn't an issue here defects are.
You can run a report from your dashboard it will show you what the 3 defects are
Did you cancel sales? did someone file a claim that you didn't resolve?
If you fall below standards your final value fee will increase from 10% to 14%
Look at the dashboard click the down arrow next to the transaction defect rate
You will see this shot below and be able to run a report
Best of luck

Bubba, I love the fireking stuff! Can't bring myself to buy or sell it - and since you sell it, you know what I mean.
Beautiful stuff, and under appreciated.
LOVE the response on this feedback though it is considered a no no...lol - was worthy of a solid laugh for me!
Definitely (someone provided a link to it for you) read up on the selling matrix in place now as ebay has things set up in way that they want to push anyone that uses their resources and doesn't meet their "Standards" either off the platform or make sure they are paying a premium at 4% above standard costs.
Cheers

Along with learning about and how seller standard rating work you also now have to keep your eyes on a new rating called service metrics. Click Here to learn more about this.
Also while you are learning I am going to suggest reviewing the 2018 fall seller update which is the most current one. Click Here

Run a report to see what defects are being counted against you. Post #4 above shows where to do this.
Have you ever cancelled a sale (maybe for damage) and used out of stock as the reason?

Hello, I took a look and was surprised to see these were placed there for "Out Of Stock"??? I have never been out of anything, where would ebay get this information when I have always shipped an item won by a bidder, always. Take the first line, a Fire King Vase, I had 11 of them and have sold 3 this past week but I have never been out of them. Another line is Fire King bowls, I have 3 stacks of the bowls when this was posted? What could I be doing wrong, there has to be an answer, defects, NO, I ship every item won, YES! bubba
If you have given full refunds for whatever reason (not really important what the reason is for) and did not go through the resolution center, I think eBay is counting these refunds as out of stock reasons.
