We all pay the same in most categories. There is no way to bring it down.

No.
also your funds may be held for some time as well.
risky stuff to be selling with as little feedback for a seller... Just saying.

Charge a little bit more for the item.
That way, the CUSTOMER ends up paying your fees.
No charge for that advice.

There is a very slight fee difference between Basic and above store subscribers vs non-store and Starter store accounts. For most categories the difference is 12.9% compared to 12%.
Non-store fees: here
Store fees: here
You will need to do the math on your last 3 months of sales to figure how much that would save you, then compare it to the cost of a Basic or above store subscription. Stores have different rates if you subscribe monthly or yearly. Annual subscriptions result in an early termination fee if you decide to end the subscription before the year is up.

There really is no way to lower the fees. Actually, try to stay away from shipping heavy items or your fees will actually increase. Just curious how heavy that item is that you are asking $102 to ship?

Don't see the symbol for a store with the OP's items.

Become a top-rated seller, offer one day handling and free 30-day returns and your FVF will be decreased by 1%.

Sorry, I need to correct myself. Become a Top-Rated Plus seller with one day or less handling time and 30 day free returns and you will save 10% on your FVF

Exactly. If they subscribed to a Basic store, their FVF would decrease by 0.9% in most categories, but they would also have to pay for the store subscription so whether or not a store would yield savings is something the OP needs to figure out.

It's just a RAM stick - 110.00 to me. Only shipping option is fed ex standard overnight, which sure shouldn't be that much.

yea you right , but you have to start some where i just started selling my stock on ebay

So if the OP fulfills all those criteria, his FVF will decrease to 2.9% (12.9% minus 10% = 2.9%)?
Doesn't seem quite right.

The TRS discount is 10% off FVF, not 10% lower.
Item is $100, fee at 12.9% is $12.90, and 10% off that is $1.29 - so instead of paying $12.90 they would pay $11.61
