As return handling charge or called something else...
Just last week had return with reason, “changed mind”
Why do I have to pay anything 💰 for that?
What are your plans going forward about this new change?

You can try to deduct from Buyer, but it won't end well for you.
Just chalk it up to 'the price of doing business'.

In a year’s time that will be a pretty high price with what is going on with Willy Nilly Returns these days!

No plans to change anything, just keep doing what I'm doing now.

Agreed with above post, not going to change anything. You cannot charge the buyer for those fees. You will have to eat them.

I loved PP, but totally disagreed with the fee grappling this big wealthy successful company is doing to people with these fees. I do not believe managed payments does this, at least not YET.

If these companies keep adding fee upon fee it’s not a cost of doing bussiness, it’s the cost of going out of business. LOL.

That's why all the smaller antiques and collectibles sellers are looking for other venues, facebook, local pick up, or any way to avoid these mounting fees.

Ebay and paypal are making my transition so easy. And im the old dog. Imagine all the young people who already knew lol.
Staying young is that neroplasticity, an old dog can learn new tricks, we have to keep up with those "young people" After being on ebay for 16 years myself, it became easy to sell only here for years, now we have to rethink that.

As a business person, I recognize that every year there is the potential for higher overhead cost, be they Ebay fees, Paypal fees, paper and ink, internet service costs, etc., etc. That's why I do my best to incorporate cost factors into my overall pricing.
When I look at my returns for 2018 and calculate what having to eat 3% of Paypal fees would be with this new rule, it would have cost me an extra $18 that year. I did 743 sales in 2018, so the cost per sale for the extra fee is about .25, yes, a quarter.
That's why, when I do my pricing, I adjust as needed, whether it's in the actual item price or in the handling fee I charge along with shipping.
Am I happy about Paypal keeping fees for returns? No, of course not! But, I can afford to add a quarter to every sale to mitigate that. Just like I have a factor in my pricing to cover other losses. It's the only way to stay in business and continue to be profitable.
