Hello,
Sold a coin 20 days ago and today the buyer opened a eBay case because he wants refund. I have to take actions until 05 September.
I have 4 options - "Accept the return", "Give full refund", "Offer partial refund" and "Send the buyer message".
In my listing I did write that I do not accept returns and marked this option. The buyer claims that he is not sure that the coin he bought it authentically. I'm sure that the coin is authentically, because I bought it from one of the biggest Auction Houses in Europe.
I have sent him a message and attached proofs that I have bought the coin from an Auction House and the invoice with the coin.
What options do I have in this case, if we can't find a solution till 05 September eBay will automatically refund him or?
Regards,
Boril

We should have a choice, everyone should have. This is total joke to be honest, eBay should remove the no returns option then, it's total **bleep**...

If the tables were turned, and you were the dissatisfied buyer than you would want to return the item. Policies are to protect everyone. If you bought the item from a brick and mortar store, got it home and it was not what you wanted; I am sure your would go back to the store to return and get your money back!! So, because this is on the internet should the policies be different??
Put yourself in the buyer's situation...

I'm not blind when I'm buying something lol. I mean if there is no option of no returns, then remove the option to chose that sellers do not accept returns. It's a joke situation. I'm in numismatic business for more than 15 years, I can spot the fake coins only from one photo. I have never and will never sell fake coins, as I said I have proofs that the coin is authentic and the buyer doesn't even reply to me.

Option of no returns, means you just refund em that all.
It means you do not want the product back is all no returns means.
Oh and it does slow down them returns and such stuff in my opinion.

He still hasn't reply to the dispute, my partial refund offer is still standing - not accepted or refused yet. What is happening now?

I don’t know how it works in the EU, but here in Canada, merchandise returns are tax exempt. In the rare occasion when tax is levied when the package comes in, you can ask for a refund with proof that this was a return.

"But I have proofs that the coin is 100% authentically. "
With all due respect, you most certainly DO not have proof of authenticity.
You have an invoice from an auction house which shows your purchase of the coin.
Even the best/most prestigious auction houses have been caught selling/passing on fakes as authentic.
There are hundreds of threads on the popular coin discussion forums that prove, time and again, that auction houses (and their in-house experts) have been duped by consignors.

There must be something similar in EU, but here in Bulgaria things are bit different LOL.

Still nothing, he did not accepted/refused. No message either.

No returns does not mean no refunds - read the details of the eBay Money Back Guarantee. If you don't play eBay ball you can loose the money & item.
You are better off offering a 30 day return policy, buyer pays the shipping.
Hard to fight eBay and City Hall.

Those issues (import duties and taxes) are on you.

Likewise, there are sellers that will try to run a game on buyers by playing "hide the pea".
From my vantage point - Walmart taught buyers how to run a scam on their very liberal return policy during the 80's. Just a simple real life example. My wife worked in the Customer Service at a WM in Katy Texas. One day a lady came in with a pair of worn out, dirty kids canvas tennis shoes and claimed the shoes "hurt her kids foot". adn she didn't have a receipt but bought them about a year ago. She wanted to refuse the return as they were well worn and her kids foot probably grew 2 sizes. The store Manager got involved and advised my wife to issue a full refund as Walmart still carried that line of shoe. They are still liberal but much tighter today.
Just because a seller sells on line does mean they are protected from return - it is just part of most any business that sells - except Pawn Shops and Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc but the customer has the ability to touch and feel before they buy.
Sold on eBay until last year - had less that 5 returns all were remorse returns except, one which was an item Not As Described claim. I fully accepted - no battle But the buy tried to run a game on the return - they sent back a partially closed Priority Mail Padded Envelope with an empty flattened box inside. USPS had sticker one the packing - like no content, not properly sealed and delivered in a clear bag. Took pics of all that sent to the buyer and eBay - did not have to refund even a "Yankee Dime" or a "Wooden Nickel". Growing up on the South Side of Detroit taught me a whole lot on how people will try to run a game - those lessons came in handy later on,
