Sudden drop in sales May 2022

I feel for you. I've had the same issues since may and nothing has been done. I had 2 sales since Friday. If no one sees listings no one is buying. Adding new listings, tweaking older ones, raising PL rates, coupons, relisting, etc etc is doing absolutely zilch..

So one thing I noticed... on your listings now, ebay took away the top row of YOUR promoted listings, yes, that small piece of listing real-estate that was yours is now gone... it's replaced with "Related Sponsored Items" and to make it worse, NONE of them are "Related" not in furthest stretch of the cosmos. I thought maybe this was just happening with my listings, so I started view others listings and same thing, so basically, ebay forces sellers to raise PLS elections and pay-to-play or make no sales + removes that last bit of advertising real-estate that was yours on your listings. devon@ebay what's the deal here? This needs to be changed back! There is no reason ebay should have removed that top row of PL's that were for the seller of that listing to show their PL's... don't you think it's getting a bit ridiculous by now!?

devon@ebay yes, please do, i'm sure i'm not the only seller to find this or be little ticked off by it. Bad enough ebay sends emails to your buyer basically encouraging them to return items and show them competitors listings on those emails...that top first row of Promoted Listings was always the seller of the listings Promoted Listings, now they took that away - and we are having to invest more percentages into Promoted Listings to even be seen or make a sale... them changing this isn't right and likely one reason so many sellers are so frustrated and angry.

EXACTLY - "short changed" however isn't the wording I'd use... that can't be said here. Seeing MY PL's on MY LISTING was at least giving me a sense that ebay was SHOWING MY PL's - apparently we aren't even advertised on our own listings now - at least not that first top row that always was.

screen shot so you understand what I was talking about - in case you didn't, that first row of Promoted Listings was always the sellers of the listing...ebay has replaced our PL's with others PL's
Also that little bit of advertising for another seller on my listing under the save this seller, contact etc... on the right side of the page...ebay needs to eliminate that also...I'm a top rated seller with 100% feedback, where's my advertisement on their listings!?

You are not the only one - my promoted impressions so far down today over 70% - no this is not normal..

My promoted impressions are down 38% today.... been steadily decreasing for the past week to 10 days.  My sales are down 29.7 % and still dropping.  I did have a flurry of 5 sales over labor day weekend which didn't cover my $60 store fees by $10. Of course that was charged to my debit card today. 

This is really difficult to deal with.... I had a month of normal sales and was just starting to recover from May, June and July.... now it's back in the tank.  On top of it all we have to deal with the fall changes (supposedly being implemented today)  With every change eBay makes everything falls off a cliff again.  Impossible business model...

I have a tendency to agree with @debbie6438   and I quote her: "This is going on month five of totally messed up sales and views and watchers BLA BLA BLA! Is anybody at eBay listening? Hello! Have you read the 36 odd pages of complaints? HELLO EBAY? ARE YOU THERE? HELP!"

My impressions down over 70%..still haven't heard a peep about the may issues. Nothing has been done.

there is something wrong with PLS - my impressions went from 25k Sep 4th to 18k over night Sep 5th, to 8K Sep 6th, I ended and started a new campaign today, impressions top off at the day at 12,300 starting new campaign around 3pm ... isn't quarterly seller update coming up here? Could be they changed something (again)...idk... watching impressions through tomorrow see where they land by end of the day then.

My impressions were off so I did the exact same thing - ended my current PLS and started new - impressions have fallen off a cliff since then.

I ended started a new had 6 views on the PLs - sold 2, one right after the other this morn. 

Sometimes - more often then not, something doesn't take right on campaign and you need to end and start a new one again...this has been happening a lot since the last seller update, almost every time I ended and created new something didn't take right and I had to start another again.
