I had an auction that was a sought after item and was finding it strange that I wasn't get the bids - it did sell.
However I've sold plenty of auctions and know the buyer behaviors, but this time something was off.
I found out that all my seller feedback and ratings were deleted to the public and even though I could see it the buyers only saw the number ( not the score) and could not see the 100 percent positive feedback score and any of the reviews. This whole time I was naively thinking that they were visible to everyone.
These kinds of things are actions from ebay that I stopped selling here and once again am reminded to stop. This isn't my only ebay account and have been selling longer than most here. Ebay was a much better place and even now I can tell that it is nowhere the platform it was years ago. I feel for the people that continue to sell on this platform, but it isn't a source of main income that it was in the past...far from it. There's a sense of depression just going through this market place.

They were not "deleted". Your feedback percentage is based on the past 12 months, and eBay does not show a percentage until you have at least 10 feedback in the past 12 months.
The markets and money have moved on
eBay has 16+ million sellers, 1.5 billion listings, and sellers here generate a GMV of $70+ billion per year.
eBay GMV in Q3 2016 - $20.1 Billion
eBay GMV in Q3 2018 - $18.0 Billion
eBay GMV in Q3 2020 - $22.1 Billion
eBay GMV in Q3 2022 - $17.7 Billion
eBay GMV in Q3 2024 - $18.3 Billion

I don't like this place and it makes me mad, therefore you all should hate it or you are deluded.
Is that a pretty good summary?

Op is just unhappy that his fantasy bubble has been burst with facts.

I'm fine with people not liking things, but when they feel they need to insult the item and disrespect people who are still fine with it, i.e., "I don't like it, therefore it is vile and NO ONE should like it" it seems childish and unnecessary - as if someone can't simply have their opinion, whether others agree with it or not, stand on its own merits - they are entitled to it.

It's not showing the feedback they received as a seller, but it does show the feedback they left for buyers.

Their feedback as a seller DOES, show, if you sort my "Most recent" rather than by Relevant.

Your feedback as a seller does show:
I think they are talking about the feedback they received as a seller isn't showing, not the %.
Under the feedback as a seller, I don't see anything.

eBay does not show a percentage until you have at least 10 feedback in the past 12 months.
The percentage shows if you have 1 feedback, it's Detailed Seller Ratings that don't show until you have 10 or more.

For heaven's sake, I provided an image of it! And told you how to see it! Sort by "Most recent"!

You're right, I keep forgetting about that stupid button.

I already hit myself in the head for that, don’t make me have to hit you too.🤪.

Your Feedback as an eBay buyer & left for others still remains. Only the FB as a former eBay seller in good standing has been removed.

NONE of the OP's feedback has been removed, it's all there for anyone to see......
