Sales for me are deader than a doornail. Nothing but crickets. Nada. 4-day dryspell, like the desert. Nothing since January 3rd. 4 days, no sales is a new record for the last 12 months.
Hope things pick up soon or I am gonna have to make a beer run and drown my listing tediousness this afternoon. Until then, I expect I will list a few more, just for good measure.
Nod if you can hear me……

I ended up with 5 more sales yesterday~~total of 8 at $170.00. I shipped 5 yesterday figuring I'd just ship the other 3 today~~now I have 8 to go between today and Saturday. I have until Tuesday but I want them out sooner than that~~we may be getting snow before then. I guess I'd better shift gears here and get moving.

Ebay presence is below 9% total online sales in 2017

I have the same problem even though sales have been good. I think it has to do with this cold depressing weather. I have cabin fever~~too cold to go anywhere. My electric bill is $235.00 because the furnace has been running non stop for weeks.
I got all 8 out in the mail yesterday and made 1 more sale so today I HAVE to get busy and list and relist. They aren't going to sell if they aren't listed. Then again~~I may go "picking" at the thrift shops today. I can't even make up my mind what I want to do.

I have had a bit of the dead days myself. However I just kept listing and ended up doubling my last January sales. Only had $2000 more listed in comparision to last year. I refreshed my older listings by ending old listings or listings with a lot of views and checked them over looking at price points and provided faster handling make all first class items free shipping gave more than one shipping option and flipped some buy it now to auction and moved some auctions to buy it now. Made sure I had measurements on most all items and did a picture redo on some of the listings. I even changed some categories some items can go in different categories and do better. I even lifted some prices and actually sold them at the higher price. I did the increases because of the new shiooing prices. Hope your store sales pick up soon.

I have been selling on eBay since 2010, I have never seen it this bad. I would say for a year plus sales have been down 40-50% I am calling Amazon tomorrow to start selling some items. If it goes good bye bye eBay. I have had it!!

Sales for me are deader than a doornail. Calntom - unquote -----------------------------
And here we are now in mid Feb and sales are still SSS, [ snail snot slow ] . I made one sale today ,, a good one ,, but only one . The rest of this week prior about three sales total- sigh . I've done everything I know to do , lower a few prices , revamp photos and even added a much wider variety of items ,, but people just aren't buying right now . I've tried to stay positive as much as possible because every year about this time I've always seen an increase in sales . I've kind of credited that to people beginning to get their tax refunds so I'm still holding out hope things will change soon for everybody .But geez ,, some of the items I had for sale with 5, 6 and even 7 watchers never sold and were relisted again today for another 30 days . It feels even more bleak when you know e bay will be taking their fee's within the next couple days .I think we need an e bay Moses to help lead us through this ''dead'' sea 😞 Tulips

I have been on a steady down slide since Nov. 2017. My sales were very good before that. Now I am selling on another site. I just opened my shop a couple of days ago and already had a sale. If Ebay continues with this downward spiral I will close my shop here. It is not worth the hours and hours I put into it with no results or sales to pay my fees. I see many sellers leaving Ebay. The only one making money is Ebay, not the sellers. Where will Ebay be all the sellers leave? They do not make it easy for the sellers. They put more and more demands on us exp. free shipping, 1 day handling, ratings, etc., etc. They took away the 20% discount and now only give 10% for top rated. What incentitive is that to keep selling here. I think something fishy is going on. When I list a new item I have 3 people who look at it. The next day 3 more. I believe they are bots, and not people really looking at your items. Ebay's tatic to make believe your items are seen.

You are offering items that folks dont look for every day. Dishes are a "slow burn" item. Leave them out there and eventually they will sell but it wont be steady or fast. You might also add best offer with auto decline at 20-30% off so if the buyer is interested but only turned off by a small percentage, then you guys can negotiate a price.
