Since April 6th, my eBay impressions have dropped significantly from an average above 1 million to around 500k, and now they hover at around 600k. Despite contacting customer service, I received an unhelpful response that everything looks fine. Frustratingly, I have continued to upload new listings every day, but sales have still decreased. On April 25th, a new issue arose where my organic page views showed 0, which is clearly not accurate. I reached out to customer service, but their response was again unhelpful and similar to my previous experience. These ongoing problems have made me feel unstable and unsure about eBay's reliability. I am now considering moving to another platform, but before making that decision, I want to know if others are facing similar issues.

YEP!!, Same Problem!, I think if you don't pay to play or pay high enough that this is the result!

Hi from the UK. I’ve been going crazy here with the same issue. Try to convince eBay staff there is a big problem here. Thank goodness I found your thread .

Yep! 100% Promoted Ads do better than 2% promoted Ads. Great for sellers with another business that want a big loss to report on taxes (attempt at humor but sadly true - nice of eBay to allow 100% Promoted Ads - at least they protect sellers from using a 1% Promoted Ad) 🙄
Back to the topic, there is a definite eBay glitch. So far seeing 100% promoted page view and 0% organic page views. I have had a promoted sale today. I never see less than 60% organic page views - so 0% organic page views seem like a definite eBay bug/glitch. I do see both promoted and organic impressions.
I am sure eBay will get this resolved ASAP... one month later (reference to a show about my favorite yellow sponge). 🙄

Why would you waste CS time having them check your impressions? Things have slowed down and your desirable items have most likely sold. You should always expect a drop in impressions until you bring fresh, reasonable priced, and in demand items back to your store.

My sales have dropped significantly, by around 50%. I'm not receiving many best offers on my account anymore, not even unreasonable ones. It feels like my products are no longer visible to people. Before these problems occurred, I used to receive a lot of best offers and could send many offers to buyers. Now my store is very quiet. I still list a lot of new items every day, even more than before, but the results are not the same. It feels like I'm not getting any traction.

@coolections this isn't about just a general slow down, if you look at the screenshots provided it is undeniable that there is some kind of glitch going on with the reports.
Regardless of the economy or anything else that may or may not be impacting sales, it's not at all unreasonable for sellers to want to report to CS that there is a technical issue and it is also not at all unreasonable for sellers to expect CS and the technical department to take those reports seriously, correct the issue ASAP and communicate back to sellers about what is going on.

It's not eBay, it's everywhere. I sell on other platforms and they are down as well. The US Economy is not at its strongest. Bed Bath & Beyond Bankrupt, other retailers, Walmart, etc are closing stores, banks in trouble again. Food costs are high, most people are only spending on necessities until the market is better. Maybe if they brought eBay Bucks back it would help us all.

So the bad economy is causing eBay traffic reports to suddenly show Zero Organic Page Views and 100% Promoted Page Views as of yesterday? Interesting theory.

There are two issues being conflated here - the issue at hand is a reporting issue, not a sales issue.
GENERAL: I've had a tumble also, though I'm just a two-bit operation, it's still visible.

Mine is the exact same way, from monday to today views are massively down from being up the last 3 months. Something is wrong and I call but of course they "say" they haven't heard about any massive problems. On youtube people are talking about it and I just check these forums and people are all talking about it. How great would it be if eBay stopped screwing with crap because they put new code over old code and break something every single time. STOP IT!!!!!

Same thing with me. I usually have about 1,000 organic views a day, and it went to 220 on Monday, 26 on Tuesday and zero so far today. My impressions have remained consistent. I called yesterday and today, and both reps insist no one else is reporting this problem (even though this thread proves otherwise). I would just like to know whether it's simply a counting issue (which seems likely given the extreme drop) or if there is a change afoot to drive us into paying more for promoted listings -- i.e. is this a harmless glitch that means nothing other than we are seeing inaccurate numbers or an intentional change that is actually affecting our page views? Some transparency would settle a lot of nerves, I'm sure. It's too early for me to tell on sales. I usually sell about nine things a day, and it's been five Monday, six Tuesday and four so far today.

I just contacted eBay customer service, and their response was a set of standard and grandiose terms, as if they had a scripted Q&A to deal with our questions. Their answer was completely unrelated and ignored the fundamental issue, making me feel like I was talking to a 3-year-old child. I feel like my intelligence has been insulted.

Up, down, the same?
Down and defying yearly sales trends in Auto parts, as well as sales trends outside of eBay. Feb-April is the busiest time of year in auto parts and on eBay was completely flatlined, despite the trend still going outside of eBay, and despite their marketing push as Motors being one of their focus categories.
I'll say it again and again, eBay is clearly broken. And it's easy to prove by observing any of the many glitches yourself.
