Sold a factory sealed Vision Tek Graphics card 3/3/23. 2 weeks later ebay holding funs to refund to buyer. Supposedly IT in NYC, 32 employees, 6+ mil revenue. Buying on ebay? Defective? All money refunded also charged shipping return postage. Completed 4/3/23. 1) buyers picture does not represent item 2) precautions followed for installing computer card? 3) listing complete with pictures, not the wrong item, 4) proof? Well no return either since 4/3/23.
Thanks ebay,

Really sorry for your situation. You really should accept returns. Had you accepted returns in your listing, the buyer wouldn't have got a refund. I know a lot of sellers who refuse to accept returns, however you'll be less likely to have this happen again. Lots of dishonesty out there these days. More than hard working sellers deserve. Protect yourself and change your policy. Again, very sorry.

If the buyer opened a return for not as described and you didn't respond to the return by uploading a return label, then the buyer can, after 3 days, ask ebay to step in. When ebay steps in the buyer gets the refund they requested, plus they get to keep the item. In the future, accept the return, send the return label, receive the widget back and refund.
Sellers never win a dispute for Not as Described return.

I'm not sure what this means or what it has to do with your return case. "Supposedly IT in NYC, 32 employees, 6+ mil revenue."

I'm not following..........sounds like case opened by the buyer.....you refunded the buyer at the same time a shipping label was given.......you've not received the item back?

If you refunded the buyer before it was returned, the buyer has no reason to return it now.

That's what I'm getting from the OP as well.
They should have waited to refund until they got the widget back.

Thank you
I haven't been selling long and this along with 2 buyers who never paid is annoying and I hope not things to come. I've contacted ebay but to no avail. Lesson learned.
