Today somebody bought and paid. Lucky I had the postage left in the ol Paypal account and the
buyer had good feedback, so I printed and shipped.
Now if it going to be five days or more before we see sales proceeds in our bank accounts,
why should we be inclined to "front the money" for the shipping.
Ebay doesn't seem to care about inconveniencing sellers, so why not let the buyers see how much they care about them also!!

I am a buyer ONLY. If the estimated delivery date exceeds one calendar week from payment I always buy from someone else.

I think seller always try to send item asap.

It's still a game, eBay takes the money from your "pending payout" first. Say you go into the weekend with $100 in sales that have "processed" and over the weekend you sold 10 items each costing about $10 a piece to ship.... come Sunday night you want to ship those items you just sold, well that money has not "processed" yet so when you purchase the shipping labels you end up with ZERO $ as your next day payout.
eBay doesn't purchase the shipping labels with the "processing" money from the items just sold, they grab the money you have at hand.

AGAIN....WRONG, If you have a pending payout eBay takes the money from that NOT the processing amount UNLESS you have NO payout pending.

For me, I notice the payment is deducted immediately. Meaning I can go on my account and see the debit there. It's not "Pending" or any other verbiage, it shows as an accomplished transfer and the money is gone. I'm not an accountant to be aware of these places books, but I don't have any reason to think it shows as a positive on their accounts just as quickly.
Pretty sure you're talking about using a 'debit' card then, not a credit card.

It's going to show up in minutes. This is true when I've ordered from Amazon or any other place. The transfer happened and wasn't "Pending" for more than minutes. They aren't going to take "Oh we really really promise you'll get your money on Tuesday for a sale today. Pinky swear!" Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if "the big boys" on Ebay aren't putting up with Managed Payments like the rest of us are.
Actually, they do, because they have no choice when a customer pays with a credit card. It takes time to process. It's not immediate. Unless they are using a 'debit' card.

Then you are using a debit card, or you are using a credit card of a type I'm unfamiliar with.

At my bank, the 'pending' can be there for days. And gas charges will say 1.00 for a day or two also. It all works itself out...

I use a Debit card. Still will show 'pending' for a day or two.

I haven't received compensation from eBay, it's been delayed

Probably better to open your own thread instead of one that is 15 months old.
