I just received payment ( it’s on hold with ebay) of 1,250. The buyer is not responding to my messages but I have received a couple of messages from different accounts asking me to ship to another address. I’m smelling scam, but the buyer has paid. What do I do?

You ship the item to your buyer.
Those messages are from scammers watching new sellers ,selling expensive items.
When an item is sold, they send the seller a message claiming to be the buyer trying to get them to change the address.
The sellers that fall for it don't know they've been scammed until the buyer wants to know where their item is.

You ONLY ever ship to the address on the order. Ignore the messages from the other accounts. Good luck.
Edit to add: it looks like you relisted the watch again. Maybe the high bidder on that Auction will be a good buyer.
Conversely, if you've sold it again... your paid buyer might be miffed. Do you have two of that Tag Heuer?

The other IDs are attempting to scam you. Anybody that asks you to text or e-mail them outside of eBay is trying to scam you.
On a new selling account with low feedback and an expensive item- you're a target for scammers.

Then why did you list 2? You will have to cancel the bids on the live auction and end it early- or wait for it to end then cancel for being out of stock. The first action will result in paying fees even though the listing is cancelled- the second action will put a serious defect on your selling account. You can survive one out of stock cancellation, but you don't want to accrue more than that.
What about the one sold 5 days ago? What happened with that? Was it a non-payment issue and did you cancel the order for non-payment?
You should learn how eBay works before you list anything else for sale. Have you read the help pages at all?

You have been paid, so why not ship? What messages are you sending to your buyer and why?
I agree with the person who recommended that you learn more about how eBay works before continuing your selling career.

You have one in your sold that you said buyer has paid, now you have one on auction set to expire in 30 minutes from when I am posting this.

have received a couple of messages from different accounts asking me to ship to another address.
But did any of those come FROM the buyer? If not, they are scams........... If a change did come from the buyer you do want to cancel because of problem with buyer address........
Considering that you apparently relisted......we don't know what you did on the first sale.......and if you didn't cancel the first sale, you could be in trouble......

The one 5 days ago was a scammer.

Thank you for pointing this out.

Thank you and I will.

Ship it to the address provided with the buyers address or if you are really unsure about the purchase due the winners request to ship elsewhere, cancel the sale stating problem with the buyers address. You really should not be selling items auction style. You are a total target for scammers as a new seller and there's a good chance you could lose the second one you have listed to a scammer. Be smart. Buy it now, immediate payment required. Do not reply to texts or communicate outside the ebay forum.

@ckimodog
It is my understanding in this instance, as stated in the OP, the request(s) were NOT MADE BYTHE REAL BUYER. They are apparently the work of the usual everyday "change of address scammers."
Cancelling the sale as a result of the bogus requests only serves to cancel the sale on the buyer who has already paid and expecting the product to be shipped.

I asked about that a long time ago. The OP has no second one. But I agree with the rest of your post. 😑
