Just sold a new iphone to a buyer with an established account with over 1000 feedbacks. After reviewing the purchase, however, i noticed that the buyer is requesting to have the package sent to a mail forwarding company named Meest America in New Jersey. A quick google search reveals multiple instances of potential fraud related to this place.
Question is, is it worth it to proceed? Ive shipped to mail forwarders in the past with not much issue, however, all the bad experiences posted online makes me think twice. Does anybody have any experiences or issues shipping to this company?
Thanks!

I have a customer that purchase between 300 to 600 dollars of fabric every 3 to 4 months. They use Meest and in the 2 years that I have sold to them, there has been no problem.

As a side note: if you don't want the potential to be scammed, don't sell.
Also, you have no legitimate reason to cancel the sale.
Reason to cancel, "there is a problem with a buyers address?" Thats encouraging i realize that we almost never here of the good experiences on message boards online. I understand your point, but if i can be smart by screening addresses and making informed decisions then i can reduce my risks of being defrauded. I to have shipped out to mail forwarders without issues in the past, but all it takes is one at this price point...
yeah....good luck with future sales if you lie. The address is valid.
Ship the phone.

Well, yes, because the people who are happy with that place see no reason to post about it. I've shipped to them and many other reshippers in the past with no issues. You need only prove delivery to that location, not the Ukraine.

Yes, I have experience; No, I've had no issues. If your PayPal account shows the payment received, and that is the address you received with the payment, then that is where you ship it. Because the sale was over $750, Signature Confirmation is required to retain Seller Protection, and if you're buying your postage over the counter, you need to upload your tracking number right away once you get home. (Uploading it after an INR dispute is filed will no longer be honored.)
Getting a little off-topic here, I know, but it was just one week ago that you were experiencing another minor freak-out (here) over another shipment where you didn't see a visible on-line signature and were afraid of being ripped off. Given that you're listing nothing but smartphones and laptops, probably the two most highly-scammed products on eBay, you're really going to have to steel yourself and be aware of where the risks are, and are not, if you want to have a successful selling operation here without getting ulcers.
There are multiple scams that buyers are going to be attempting on you, and it's great that you're coming here for advice, but if one loss from a successful scammer is going to sink your operation, you might want to consider just selling that stuff locally for cash. Good luck.

three words: cookie jar insurance.
Take a small part of each sale and stash it back (I use a second PP account), when you have the inevitable loss, move that money back to cover the loss.
