Selling restrictions

I have various third party minifigures that are NOT made by Lego that my kids don’t want anymore. I posted them as NOT being Lego, but being compatible with Lego.  Not sure what I’m doing wrong because I clearly state in the descriptions that the items are NOT authentic Lego

What did eBay tell you when they imposed the selling restrictions?

Did your listings get taken down? Did you receive any VERO notices? Did you relist them after they were taken down.

LEGO is notorious for fiercely defending their intellectual property.

Don't mention Lego AT ALL in your listing if they are not Lego.

     They are also listed in the LEGO category under which they don't belong.

Give the actual brand name.

Don't call it CocaCola if it is Pepsi.

If there is a collector of that brand they will find it.

In that case, I would just say they're compatible with the major brand name and leave out the word Lego altogether.

At a minimum using a term like "not Lego" is keyword spamming / search manipulation. This has not been allowed for as long as I can remember (at least 20 years).

Under certain circumstances "fits x" or "compatible with x" is allowed.

Lego specifically are very sensitive and also very litigious so eBay is extremely sensitive to any abuse of the word Lego.

AI sees Lego, and does not care if the word "like", "compatible", or other term of disclaimer is used.

They got taken down with a Vero notice.  I don’t mention Lego at all, I’ve been putting “compatible with leading brand”
